Nobody in the NFL sees Mattison as a lead RB. He's nice, but not remotely special.

Mattison could be lead back on half the teams in the NFL right now. So if 50% of all teams is nobody then I think you're right.

I disagree completely but that's ok. He's a solid backup. Maybe 1 or 2 teams would entertain him as an immediate starter. Either way if we don't get a solid offer just let him walk next year.

Oh great... Matt is extra needy again.

Set off bc Brad didn't thank him for wishing him a happy bday.

Yeah, that is annoying. Why wouldn't someone acknowledge happy birthday wishes? Karl did the same thing a few weeks ago.

Common courtesy is tough to come by in here sometimes.
Right, Ricky?

Right? An average NFL caliber center would be a big improvement for us. Maybe one will be available tonight.

Schlottman or Reed...we may have 2 on the roster already.
Rumor was Mattison to Eagles for veteran C Kelce (as he lost his position).

You gotta think they have a plan besides letting Bradbury sink us.

The Vikings need to be on the lookout for slot corner depth, it would seem. IOL, WR, IDL, Edge depth as well. I've liked Luigi Villain to make it from the start, but if the right guy is available he would probably make it through to our practice squad.

Word is we've had talks with the Eagles for WR Jalen Reagar.

No need.

In a heartbeat. I would do that in a heartbeat.

No flinching. No second guessing. Just do it.

Go for it. It may propel us into Superbowl favorites. and it would propel me into LOVING KAM and KOCeven more.

The fact that so many recent draft picks are not making the roster tells me that ridding ourselves of Speilman and Zimmer is going to pay HUGE dividends in the long run.

WHY?

With Theilen, Jefferson, Osborn, Smith-Marsette....what would be the point?

We've let guys go I'd rather have. And would probably lose Nailor which I don't want.

Kinda dumb if you ask me.

Mattison is, IMHO, better than Nwangwu and Chandler, but they aren't terrible. We really only need them to spell Cook and cover the few games Cook will inevitably miss. We desperately need a better Center than Bradbury, i would say that Kelce qualifies for that . Knowing Mattison will NOT be back next year get something for him...we won't lose much here and the gain of a Kelce over a Bradbury in ability and experience alone would be a huge benefit.

But Kelce has spent a lot of time at TE. With Bradbury's biggest weakness being undersized for the position, wouldn't we be trying to fix a problem with another guy with a similar problem?

We are not talking about the TE from KC. We are talking about the C from Philly, The TEs brother.

The guy who has started 159 games at C?

And played all 3 years of college at C and LG?
