We believe the Vikings are working on acquiring a new Center. Stay tuned

This is my hope, too...not sure who "VikeFans" are, or whether there is anything to back this up, but it is our biggest hole

Certainly Suh would help, but it feels like these resources are better used at C rather than DL

Agree, I think C and TE #2 are probably the areas of most need right now.

I would put slot CB ahead of TE2.

Its hard to argue with CB … I think we are barely avg and thats if Booth gets healthy and comes through.

That being said, TE has been obnoxiously disregarded so far. I know McVey’s offense doesn’t have a big role supposedly. Although I look forward to Irv having a solid year … he’s no iron man and all we have backing him is an OL essentially and Johnny Nepotism Mundt.

Strange move to cut Watts to say the least. Our DL is pretty thin to begin with.

I question whether Kewesi isn't just cutting players that are not new regime players.

Whose son is Johnny? I think TE2 as a trouble spot is a bit of a reach. It's always better to have better players at every level, but what position would you sacrifice at to get a slightly better TE2?

It's a funny phenomenon. Not funny ha ha, funny lame.

People that play lame or dumb...but it's on purpose. You know it. They know you know it...but it plays bc people are really dumb on the internet. And plenty of people don't know the poster is playing.

I say go for quality content. (yes my play to Scott was quality)

the people that play dumb are the Meatsauces of the world. Now I'm sure you don't know who that is. A local Radio personality on the KFAN's morning show plays a doofus on the show and the others mock and ridicule him. It's all very juvenile, but in postgame shows, he usual has a lot of good incite on what happened in the game.

His real name is Paul Lambert. but he goes by Meatsauce. and it is IMHO a stupid schtick.

He was named Meatsauce by Mike Morris when the Power Trip was his show. It has never been the same since they fired Morris. Now I call it the Morons in the Morning......but the youngsters seem to eat up their juvenile antics.

How anybody listens to the kfan morning show is something I will never understand. It’s like a bunch of early puberty boys talking.

Only time I listen is to hear Ben Leber after Vikings games and half the time they talk over him about stupid junior high stuff.

Ben "Smartest Guy in the Room" Leber. I say Cove and Sauce are smarter. Hawkey is maybe not dumb, but he's weird and talks too horny.

Hawkey can sure sing and produces one of the top morning shows...he really doesn't need to say too much; just run the ship.

He has an incredible voice.

He's no Warren Zevon.

His voice is every bit as good as Warren's, but Warren is one of the genius songwriters of all time.

His voice is actually fairly limited, one dimensional.

All I know is his voice sounds good to me. I enjoy hearing him sing. Could you enlighten me on his limitations and one dimensional quality? However, I probably haven't heard him sing since I left Minnesota 12 years ago.

We could really use/need both Tretter and Suh.

No thank you w/OBJ. He more than likely hasn't recovered from SB injury anyway.

I would if he signed for the minimum...

Almost entirely, the teams at the bottom went to the playoffs and the teams the the top didn't.

The worst part is they started every drive with a pass. If it wasn’t successful, it would be a run on second. If it was successful enough for a first down, the next play would be a run. Every time last year

No misspelling at all. Dylan was also one of the genius songwriters of our time as were Lennon, McCartney, Prince and Jim Steinman.

Warren was a huge admirer of Dylan as Dylan was a huge admirer of Warren. When Warren was dying Dylan came to help him make his last album and to say his farewells to him. Warren did a cover of Knocking on Heaven's Door.

Guessing a boy named Suh will be arriving today.

You simply don't cut your starting DE for a bust like Blacklock.

it must be happening...i'd say 85%....

If you have the other couple of true NT; Suh could be a DE beast in a 3-4.

Zed, Suh, and Hunter would make Donatell stay up at night just giggling while scheming.

He must have pictures of KOC and the entire Rams coaching staff to have held onto a job so long.

Almost 28 years old, been with the Rams in some form since 2017 (PS, Roster, Reserve/Future Contract, one year contracts). Career 10 receptions, 93 yards, 0 TDs.

That warranted a 2 year deal with us.

Tie at #1 C/DL with the Watts waiving. Even prior to this we are going to be a sieve against the run.

Spot on. Zevon had a great album in the 70’s but he wasn’t even ‘one of the greatest songwriters’ in that decade.

If all you know of Warren is his Excitable Boy album than I see how you could hold that belief. However you're missing so much. Do you know his song Don't Let us Get Sick, Mohammed's Radio, Hasten Down the Wind, Desperados under the Eaves, Veracruz, Mutineer, Poor Poor Pitiful Me, Play it all Night Long? If you don't you are in no position to judge where he ranks among great song writers. My favorite is Roland The Headless Thompson Gunner.

His songwriting was incredible and often psychotic. That's what made it so great. Off the top of my head the greatest songwriters in pop or rock during my lifetime are Warren, Dylan, Lennon, McCartney, Prince and Jim Steinman. You probably have some others you think were great, but to me that group was head and shoulders above the rest.

Waiver claims end at 11AM Minnesota Time. Maybe it will take an hour after that to find out who was claimed.

(And yes, I know Matt is fishing for attention...)

You misspelled B-O-B D-Y-L-A-N

Spot on. Zevon had a great album in the 70’s but he wasn’t even ‘one of the greatest songwriters’ in that decade.

He sure was. His songwriting was incredible and often psychotic. That's what made it so great. Off the top of my head the greatest songwriters in pop or rock duing my lifetime and Dylan, Lennon, McCartney, Prince and Jim Steinman. You probably have some others you think were great, but to me that group was head and shoulders above the rest.

Nobody cares who you or I think were the greatest.

Some people do. For what it's worth BigO started this. He knows I'm a huge fan of Warren so he introduced him into the conversation.

Move it to the music thread KG; like you know you should.

Whatever Phil. BigO brought him up and I made a comment. BFD.

So Tomasson is reporting we only have 6.5 million after yesterday's moves?

6 or 12? Which is it?

That sometimes takes time to calculate; but we burned some up with the trade....1.5 million.

Whose son is Johnny? I think TE2 as a trouble spot is a bit of a reach. It's always better to have better players at every level, but what position would you sacrifice at to get a slightly better TE2?

KOC pulled ex-Ram Johnny out of his pants when he got here.

So .. dont address it at all because you cant have solid depth everywhere?

No, that aint it. Thats just asking to shoot yourself in the foot. If Irv goes down … again … or doesnt produce … as projected … you are giving the defense an extra lb cb or s for coverage because mundt ellefson are going to be covered by the dt, after he rushes the passer.

Its not an either/or thing … almost any close-to-roster caliber TE would upgrade our bottomless light-bending te depth.

So...Blacklock on the books for more than Watts was? That makes it make even less sense...
