ORIGINAL: Phil Riewer VikeFans @VikeFans · 1h We believe the Vikings are working on acquiring a new Center. Stay tuned This is my hope, too...not sure who "VikeFans" are, or whether there is anything to back this up, but it is our biggest hole Certainly Suh would help, but it feels like these resources are better used at C rather than DL Agree, I think C and TE #2 are probably the areas of most need right now. I would put slot CB ahead of TE2. Its hard to argue with CB … I think we are barely avg and thats if Booth gets healthy and comes through. That being said, TE has been obnoxiously disregarded so far. I know McVey’s offense doesn’t have a big role supposedly. Although I look forward to Irv having a solid year … he’s no iron man and all we have backing him is an OL essentially and Johnny Nepotism Mundt. Whose son is Johnny? I think TE2 as a trouble spot is a bit of a reach. It's always better to have better players at every level, but what position would you sacrifice at to get a slightly better TE2? He must have pictures of KOC and the entire Rams coaching staff to have held onto a job so long. Almost 28 years old, been with the Rams in some form since 2017 (PS, Roster, Reserve/Future Contract, one year contracts). Career 10 receptions, 93 yards, 0 TDs. That warranted a 2 year deal with us. The guarantees on the deal are low. It seems that they knew what they want out of a backup TE and knew he fits the bill. If you can do better in the draft or other means, great, but at a minimum they have a guy who will give them what they absolutely need, which is probably not a lot.
