KD. I care as well.

Nice to break it up once in a while.

We should be all rejoicing...Mannion is not on the rosterr.

I would give Kelce 7 million a year for two years and give them Mattison.

71 on top 100. I doubt it happens, but would be a big improvement.

No one KG.

You don't have to ****ing break into song and dance every time you hear 1 note. Especially not in the Vikings thread.

If you want it dropped then you should drop it. Don't make comments on it. I have a right to respond to responses to me.

Don't be a cluless douche.

Good advice. Why don't you take it?

So Tomasson is reporting we only have 6.5 million after yesterday's moves?

6 or 12? Which is it?

That sometimes takes time to calculate; but we burned some up with the trade....1.5 million.

So...Blacklock on the books for more than Watts was? That makes it make even less sense...

Absolutely. This Blacklock thing seems like Kwesi's first big blunder to me.

They must like Blacklock.

He wouldn't be the 1st guy to improve with a change of scenery. Hopefully.

(And yes, I know Matt is fishing for attention...)

It's a funny phenomenon. Not funny ha ha, funny lame.

People that play lame or dumb...but it's on purpose. You know it. They know you know it...but it plays bc people are really dumb on the internet. And plenty of people don't know the poster is playing.

I say go for quality content. (yes my play to Scott was quality)

the people that play dumb are the Meatsauces of the world. Now I'm sure you don't know who that is. A local Radio personality on the KFAN's morning show plays a doofus on the show and the others mock and ridicule him. It's all very juvenile, but in postgame shows, he usual has a lot of good incite on what happened in the game.

His real name is Paul Lambert. but he goes by Meatsauce. and it is IMHO a stupid schtick.

He was named Meatsauce by Mike Morris when the Power Trip was his show. It has never been the same since they fired Morris. Now I call it the Morons in the Morning......but the youngsters seem to eat up their juvenile antics.

How anybody listens to the kfan morning show is something I will never understand. It’s like a bunch of early puberty boys talking.

Only time I listen is to hear Ben Leber after Vikings games and half the time they talk over him about stupid junior high stuff.

Ben "Smartest Guy in the Room" Leber. I say Cove and Sauce are smarter. Hawkey is maybe not dumb, but he's weird and talks too horny.

Hawkey can sure sing and produces one of the top morning shows...he really doesn't need to say too much; just run the ship.

He has an incredible voice.

He's no Warren Zevon.

His voice is every bit as good as Warren's, but Warren is one of the genius songwriters of all time.

His voice is actually fairly limited, one dimensional.

All I know is his voice sounds good to me. I enjoy hearing him sing. Could you enlighten me on his limitations and one dimensional quality? However, I probably haven't heard him sing since I left Minnesota 12 years ago.

Yes, Each song he sings sounds like the same song.

Mayock might just make Spielman look like a genius in comparison...

Raiders first-round picks from 2019-2021:

2019:
DE Clelin Ferrell, RB Josh Jacobs and S Jonathan Abram: 5th-year options declined

2020:
WR Henry Ruggs III & CB Damon Arnette: both waived following off-field incidents

2021:
Alex Leatherwood: Waived after one season

I thought leatherwood was a can’t miss player. I better leave the talent evals to the professionals.

Crazy to cut the #17 pick after 1 season.

They also traded their 2019 2nd rounder for a 2023 conditional seventh-round pick that could become a sixth-round pick.

I always like Mayock as a TV personality, but he's an absolute dumpster fire as a GM.

I liked listening to him on NFL Network, but you’re right. It’s easy to pick talent when the pressure isn’t on you.

I do think the coaching staff is involved a lot in draft and FA.

You’re right, but ultimately the call is on the G.M.

Pretty sure Gruden had final say on everything.

I think your right.

Yes, Morris was the voice of maturity and intellect that kept that show cutting edge back then.

Initials game is pretty good.

But, the rest of the show is one horny guy talking porn, another talking gambling and the other guy saying everything "wails". Rinse and repeat.

Meatsauce actually is pretty knowledgeable about sports but is limited to goofball duty on the show.

We believe the Vikings are working on acquiring a new Center. Stay tuned

This is my hope, too...not sure who "VikeFans" are, or whether there is anything to back this up, but it is our biggest hole

Certainly Suh would help, but it feels like these resources are better used at C rather than DL

Agree, I think C and TE #2 are probably the areas of most need right now.

I would put slot CB ahead of TE2.

Its hard to argue with CB … I think we are barely avg and thats if Booth gets healthy and comes through.

That being said, TE has been obnoxiously disregarded so far. I know McVey’s offense doesn’t have a big role supposedly. Although I look forward to Irv having a solid year … he’s no iron man and all we have backing him is an OL essentially and Johnny Nepotism Mundt.

Whose son is Johnny? I think TE2 as a trouble spot is a bit of a reach. It's always better to have better players at every level, but what position would you sacrifice at to get a slightly better TE2?

He must have pictures of KOC and the entire Rams coaching staff to have held onto a job so long.

Almost 28 years old, been with the Rams in some form since 2017 (PS, Roster, Reserve/Future Contract, one year contracts). Career 10 receptions, 93 yards, 0 TDs.

That warranted a 2 year deal with us.

I’m truly ignorant about this (which has never stopped me from opinionating) but … I was hoping our new regime would employ a system where non-legitimate starters would be required to ascend to #3 then # 2 then starter.

Not to make to much of it, backup TE is a peripheral concern … but it smells like Irv and coach’s pet Mundt were locked into place in March, with noodles Muse Ellefson Davidson thrown up against the wall.

Man I'd like some accurate #'s on where we started and where we ended up after + Blacklock - Watts - Davis.

Maybe someone can sing me the details.

KOC pulled ex-Ram Johnny out of his pants when he got here.

So .. dont address it at all because you cant have solid depth everywhere?

No, that aint it. Thats just asking to shoot yourself in the foot. If Irv goes down … again … or doesnt produce … as projected … you are giving the defense an extra lb cb or s for coverage because mundt ellefson are going to be covered by the dt, after he rushes the passer.

Its not an either/or thing … almost any close-to-roster caliber TE would upgrade our bottomless light-bending te depth.

Based on what?

The guarantees on the deal are low. It seems that they knew what they want out of a backup TE and knew he fits the bill. If you can do better in the draft or other means, great, but at a minimum they have a guy who will give them what they absolutely need, which is probably not a lot.

FWIW, Vikings territory is reporting that there are talks between the Vikings and Eagles for Jalen Reagor, the receiver Philly drafted before the Vikings took Justin Jefferson. It would involve a late round pick, which could mean Spielman's head would go back in the oven.

Reagor is very jealous of Jefferson and his usage...why not Thielen isn't going to last forever. Apparently he is a good PR.

The Philadelphia Eagles have no plans to trade Jalen Reagor amid reports of a potential departure for the wide receiver.

"Jalen Reagor is a Philadelphia Eagle and he's going to be here," general manager Howie Roseman told The Athletic's Zach Berman on Sunday.

No waiver claims for the #Vikings.

The 53-man roster, as they say, is what it is.

That doesn't mean they didn't try...
It could mean they put in some claims but all the claims they made were claimed by teams that had first dibs...
