The Vikings get a penalty on an extra point and the Rams use the yardage to pin us deep

The Rams get a penalty and the Zimmer crew uses the yardage to kick it to the 15th row instead of 5 yards deep in the end zone

We, literally, can’t come up with ways to take advantage of simple things

No easy answers.

I think the safest play is get an offensive minded coach and keep Cousins. A coach that teaches him to audible and breaks down situations for him “see this do that at line of scrimmage “.

I dread starting over with piece of crap middle of draft QB.

The worst outcome would be Zimmer with a raw QB. Fricking run 3 times and punt all day.

While I agree with much of what you say I also can't stand Kirk's lack of fire. I think the mannequins at the stores show more emotion than him.

No to Cousins for no other reasons than you can't keep pushing that $ down the road and Cousins is not a 30 + million/ year QB.

If you resign him he's going to be 30 to 35/year with the last year being 70 million or something stupid.

There are other reasons.

Just take the hit and move on.

I want that in a coach... Not 100 percent sold on Dallas OC Kellen Moore, but damn... Give us that attitude in Minnesota and Im all in on Moore as next HC over Zimms Turtle shit...

Cousins worst enemy is himself, his head... he gets programming to be a winner, he is a weird dude with something in there that doesnt allow him to have the confidence to be a true team leader...

Watching what Jefferson anticipated in Rams game and what he got from his QB play on Sunday no wonder he is a bit outspoken after...

We have leaders on the team, Kirk is NOT one of them... We have great pieces to build around and Jefferson is one of them... We need more team leaders who want to be the best in the game at their skillset and not just collect mega checks because god told them to sign with the Vikes...

45 years since our last SB appearance

2 years of not being able to get over .500 in the season...

Kirk Cousins was brought in as the final piece to get us over top... NO WAY IN HELL he should be around going forward, he has set us back far enough with his cap hell and lackluster leadership. GOODBYE!

I hate the idea of blowing it up - the years in me are slipping by. I would prefer to just fix somethings around a lot of good talent we have, but ... can you fix throwing in the flat on 3rd down inside the 10 with less than 1% chance of scoring? That one is a kick in the pants for me. Not too happy with 5 runs in goal-to-goal situations gaining a total of 1 yard, either.

- but I see no choice but hoping the following comes true (it's a long time till Aug. and I'm in no hurry to get there):

I would keep Spielman....just look at the mid to late round talent playing at RB and WR. If it was up to me I would go after Jim Caldwell, Doug Pederson, or Bienemy.
