ORIGINAL: Pauldiercks1 I would guess there are Saints fans that used to say they should not talk of a SB. Leave the past in the past and look forward figure out what we need to do to win a SB. True, good perspective. Based on having only 7 pure away games out of 17 and the poor play in Philly, I believe this team needs home field more than most teams do. For that to apply (in a generic playoff conversation), they are likely going to have to win on the road. Buffalo is a power so IMO that won't be a huge key/barometer, but @GB and @Chi to close the season will be. And @Det is the typical trip-up game. Is it safe to overlook @Wash? Weirdly, they need to take care of business outside of their comfort zone in order to get back into it if they end up in the playoffs. Trying to say the home/away piece of the schedule might be a double edged sword. And there are still many home games... Cowboys, Patriots, Giants, the aforementioned Cardinals, the potentially improved Jets, etc. With the team's weaknesses, I don't assume ANY wins at home beyond an off the cuff yes/no type of thing. The weaknesses like pass D and IOL are obvious and discussed week to week.
