I think of the Vikings win 13 or 14 games, serious consideration will be given for Cousins for MVP.

It's going to be a much more interesting year than the norm and I have no idea how it's going to unfold but I have a few general feelings about our franchise going into the season;

I didn't like the off season as a whole, for the long term. Bringing back the over paid QB and a few other vets over 30(basically last years roster). The horrible first round trade with Detroit.

I would have much preferred us to try to accumulate draft capital for the QB rich draft next year and clear out cap space by trading our good but aging vets.

That said; they decided to go all in this year and we should be pretty good if we remain relatively healthy.

I do like O'Connell, this year's draft picks and love our schedule!

My prediction: Win on Sunday; 12-5, division title, lose first playoff game and draft too high for a franchise QB.

In regards to Cousins winning MVP and/or a Super Bowl. The idea that it would upset those of us who aren't big fans of Kirk is absurd. We'd be thrilled and will line up to take every last "I told you so" from the Kirk fans and beg for more. I'll tattoo a bible verse of Kirk's choosing on my ass and an image of his dick on my face. BRING IT!

I wouldn't give ANY qb $30-50+ mil unless that QB had won me a Super Bowl. Did you win a Super Bowl on your rookie deal? Yes? Great! Here's your hugenormous contract. F it let's just run victory laps and love life. No? Good luck. Next!

I heard on the radio last week in the time since the Cowboys last Super Bowl appearance only 3 NFC teams haven't been to the Super Bowl.

Vikings, Detroit, Washington.

So many stats of the garbage involve Minnesota. I doubt they ever get back to Super Bowl. snake bit.

The only MVP I care care about a Viking winning is a Super Bowl MVP.

I will help build a statue of Cousins outside the stadium if he helps bring a title to Minnesota.

This is some of the funniest shit I've ever read on talk vikes.
I bet Kirk would be quick to give you the Bible verse, but I doubt he's going to give you the image.

"I don’t necessarily think my expectation is a huge step forward for Kirk."

JJ MVP confirmed.

Kind of a shame Cousins doesn't strive to be more nor thinks he should.

I think the thing we're going to like best is KOC isn't going to run a formula he figures is supposed to win X amount of the time if executed properly. Prep is going to be different. Attacking weaknesses and
adapting on the fly will be the norm.

I.E., we won't see the throw away plays we used to.

Zim figured he could pack his defense and run formula for every game snd as long as the players didn't mess it up it was a high winning % formula.

Were these quotes you just heard today? IMO if the D plays like I think they can and Kirk plays the way he has we can go a long ways.

Former #Vikings guard Wyatt Davis is back on a 53-man roster. The Saints have signed him off the Giants practice squad.

I wish him all the best despite how annoying it will be if he ends up being a good player.

Usually when 2 regimes aren't too high on you. Spielman kept Davis and Mond on the roster even after Zimmer's comments.
