It all happened very fast. Edwards was trying to get off the court as quickly as he could and the chair got in the way.

Why he was in such a hurry in the first place is another question. Kind of stupid. But there was zero intent other than a quick exit.

Chair wasn't in the way, he picked it up out of the seating area.

https://www.google.com/search?q=ant+edwards+chair&rlz=1C1ONGR_enUS1047US1047&oq=ant+ed&aqs=chrome.3.69i57j46i131i433i512j0i512j0i3j0i20i263i512j0i131i433i512j0i20i263i512j69i61.3695j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:5f7ff8fb,vid:sYUlRspAoeM

Yep, immature as hell. No doubt about it. He has to control his emotions better than that. After a few more viewings I can see where he may have clipped two people in the process. It didn't look like anyone was hurt. One just stood there with her hand on her hip and stared up the hallway after him. Charging him with assault took it to a whole other level of stupid.

Hey numb-nuts, in the future you might want to check more before you go off spouting with blinders about how you've "seen the video".

Hey dick face, the part where the chair may have clipped someone isn't real obvious. Why don't you try pouring milk on your Corn Flakes instead of pissing on them. Maybe then you'll be less belligerent.

Hey pussy face, it was obvious if you didn't jump to a man-love conclusion. What's the matter... your team lost and you hate the first round pick? LMAO!

Okay, cut Edwards and throw him in jail for 10 years. Is that better?

So we are to believe he had no awareness that people were standing there? He simply could not see them? The same guy that 'sees' the court, and players in motion at that, for a living?

God, no wonder humans cannot be counted on for testimony.

Not a ‘story’. That’s just how it looked to me, as best as I could make out in a bad video of something that happened in a split second. If that’s wrong, fine. Who cares? I’m not trying to excuse him. I’m just trying to understand it. It was obviously careless and stupid no matter what.

So I still don’t know what your point is, besides Ant Man bad.

A lot of sensitivity in people now days.
Let's keep it simple.
The young man made a mistake in an emotional situation. He will take care of it, move on, and learn from it. A story for sure, but not much to see here folks.

There wasn't anything malicious about it. Probably just end up being a money grab.

D’lo on his stay at Minnesota.

quote:

”I felt like I was held back there, honestly," Russell said to The Athletic's Sam Amick. "I just kind of had to be the third option. Some nights, I was a little more aggressive and was kind of being held back. So to be in a position now where I can kind of thrive and be aggressive, and it gets guys going, and where the team reflects off of anybody with that type of energy, it's fun."
.
.
.
“I felt like I was gonna outplay my (Timberwolves) offer, whatever they wanted to offer me."

Still a little deluded. That’s the D’lo we know. It clearly didn’t work here when he tried to be more than a third option.

To his credit though. He didn’t really bad mouth Minnesota beyond this. He said he never asked out and would have loved to stay…though with his usual arrogance, speculating that his amazing talents were beyond what Minnesota would offer him.

Just spitballing.

So who is he ahead of on the Lakers pecking chart? LeBron or AD?

Pot meet kettle.

I report something in like one sentence. It's met with excuses, no-he-didn'ts, name calling, retractions... and now the label of sensitivity. Really?

He or the article said LeBron facilitates, so on a given night D'lo can be the man or the second option. But as a whole agree he absolutely is no more than a third option.

I wonder if he was spouting off after having a good game (scoring wise). Between him and AD, who knows what will happen in any game but at least AD shows a clear pattern of good game-bad game so far this postseason

Nice article by Jack Borman on Canis today. A bit of optimism, which is something I am fine with as a sports fan. Plenty else in life to get serious about : )

Curious what you guys would think of moving KAT ( whatever else) for the third pick if that was indeed an option?

I think we would have to seriously consider it and maybe do that. the draft is never a sure thing of course but to add another young wing that could be a star is tempting. Another cheaper contract for a few years as well. KAT has been around awhile and soon to be very expensive. KAT has many talents but also drawbacks and has been in the league for some time now. Sometimes a reset is OK

Curious what some of you think about the possibility/risk?

Even though he has some red flags, the only way I'm trading KAT for the 3rd pick is if Scoot is there. Any of the wings in that range have very limited appeal to me. Something like Scoot, Sharpe and Nurkic for KAT would work. I'd probably take Scoot and Simons if we had to, but I'd be looking to flip Simons to a 3rd team.

Otherwise we may have to target #2 if we want Scoot.

Otherwise my target would be Taylor Hendricks. I think he's the PF version of McDaniels. 6'9 with a 7'1 wingspan and a bigger frame than Jaden. Shot 48% overall, 39% on 3s (on almost 5/game) and 78% from the line. Projects to be very good on the defensive end, both as a switch defender guarding in the perimeter and also as a rim protector.

If KAT really said "I changed the game" I would trade him for a spit bucket at this point. IF HE SAID THAT, he is so out of touch and clueless it is beyond words.

I'm for running it back next year. KAT has his mental issues but can stretch the floor. He was simply awesome for 3 qtrs in the Laker play in game until he got in foul trouble and melted down. Had Ant been healthy he would have closed that game out.

I'd dump Rudy before KAT. He looked like a shell of his former self this past season.
