I think KOC would help to make Richardson one of the best QBs in the league, and the Vikings should go up and get him.

He did wonders with Goff

As in 20 TDs, 13 Int?

I'm sure it is.

Goff got way better once he was away from KOC.

He had a pretty tremendous year this season.

There is really just one guy perpetuating this trade up stuff, with daily posts about moving up to the top 15, 10, 5 and taking Stroud, Young, Richardson, or Levis depending on the day. Shades of Bernardo Harris and David Boston.

I know we don't agree on a lot of things but I also like the Tenn QB.

I don't like the Tenn QB.

I thought you were the one that mentioned him first? Well ok then.

Yes it was. The problem Goff has always had is he can't handle pressure. Det built an awesome oline and it has helped him tremedously (as it would any qb).

I think the KOC label as the "qb whisperer" are probably on par with Zimmers "cb whisperer" label.

Wasn't he among the league leaders in success against pressure this year?

It might be a lot easier to perform against pressure, when you don't face it often.

I would trade up for Stroud only (or Young)

Levis and Richardson will bust...

I like Hooker better than those 2...but if we are sitting around waiting for him, then KAM and KOC can't be too high on him...

I'd rather we get CB or WR at 23 or trade back

Chris, I agree, but I have a feeling that we will trade back again to gain more picks.

Yeah I brought up his stats. If they pick him fine, if not fine.

The guy I think would help the most as a rookie is Porter Jr. I doubt he will be there if we don’t trade up, though.

Not a lot of Draft Challenge party goers.

I see Murph has been influenced by the current Marty media blitz for Richardson.

Anderson is holding firm with Tune in the 4th.

If we can get Hooker at 23, I will be very happy. I do not want to trade up if it will cost us future #1 picks period. I have a feeling we will not have as good of a record as we did last year and may be picking higher, I do not want to give that potentially high pick to another team.

I would be happy with Porter Jr , or Brian Branch at 23.

Any other players people like for the Vikings 1st pick ?

I believe Murph had his pick of Richardson in before I started posting all the rumors.

I liked Richardson initially, of the top 5 QBs, and I like DTR as a plan B, sort of like Washington with RGIII and Kirk Cousins.

More smoke:

More smoke about the Minnesota Vikings hoping to move up in the NFL Draft, this time from Sportsnaut's Benjamin Allbright, who has covered the NFL for years and has been intimately close to the Broncos as an insider at KOA radio in Denver.

"Didn't do trades," Allbright said of his mock draft released Wednesday , "though we know Arizona and Atlanta would like to move down, and Minnesota has been calling about moving up."

Mike Martz has me pretty sold on Hooker.

Yes, Hooker is the real deal. We should take him if he is available at our pick.

What I have been reading is he would make a decent third round pick, but no way should he go in the first.

Long gone by then; may drop into 2nd round.

I just don't know how confident the Vikes are in Osborn/Nailor/Jackson/Reagor/Proehl group after JJefferson but they have been able to find decent WR in the 3-5th rounds.

But.. but.. all of our receivers will have the fabulous, accurate and gutsy, KFC throwing darts to them, covered or not..

KFC makes every offensive player around him 2-3 times better..

That’s his legacy..

Leadership, a winning completion percentage and 1 win in the playoffs..

This year we win it all.. because after all when you pay 2+ million dollars a game for the most exciting Quarter Back in the NFL.

Winning it all is guaranteed…

It's more like I'm trying to will it into existence.

Maybe I should pick Bryce Young in that case?

I just want them to identify our QB of the future and do whatever it takes to get him.

Does anybody do any post draft analysis of all these mock drafts to show how stupid they all are?

All it takes is a trade or two early and the endless articles turn into a big pile of crap.
