0-3 in one score games.

Regression to the mean is a bitch.

No kidding.

Can't wait for the 13-4 'great job' promoters to roll over on their other side

and start huffing about how unfair a few bad breaks are for a team that's 'much better than its 0-3 record'.

LOL. With a few breaks, the regular season record is 16-4! It's always about the breaks against, not the breaks for.

Kevin O’Connell explained why he didn’t instruct Kirk Cousins to clock the ball, but “looking back on it,” O’Connell said he wished he had told Cousins to do it. Was basically trying to score before the Chargers were set.

That’s either:

A) HC in over his head because if that’s the thinking it should’ve been discussed with a 2nd play called prior. The Vikings were as confused or “un set” as the Chargers.

B) A HC covering for his veteran QB that didn’t know to spike the ball.

C) All of the above.

I guess we root for the Bears to beat Denver next week?

The only way I want Caleb in our division is if he’s a Viking…

Kirk Cousins on the last play says he couldn’t hear in the headset so he called a play but said it was the same play KOC was trying to get to

Flustered when it matters the most.

Brian Flores blitzed Justin Herbert on FORTY ONE of his fifty dropbacks. Herbert finished with the highest completion percentage in league history for a QB with 45+ attempts

You are very knowledgeable when it comes to sports. I'm serious.

But, all this gotcha stuff turns you into Hoiseth II.

We always say we'd rather blitz than sit back. I just don't think Flores has much to work with.

Sure. If they're running that mile...

Fields is horrible throwing the ball.

He doesn't. And it doesn't help that his scheme doesn't fit the talent at all.

Flores is a clear improvement, but I'm not sure he's "the guy". He really doesn't have that much experience calling a defense. And even in Miami, his rep was feasting on bad teams and getting scorched by good ones.

We played an out of sorts Eagles offense and a bad Tampa one and went into today 25th in Points and 16th in Yards. Those numbers will be worse tomorrow.

Strange how much better the defense looks than last year ... in the midst of getting run over.

We really did scheme ourselves into oblivion last year.

Peterson, Bynum and Metellus must have snuck a few gulps of the Offense's gator-pixie dust-mojo potion-ade for their game saving plays.

Otherwise, all we did on defense was bleed on people.

He might try, but he doesn’t actually do anything to help them win.

5 wins in 28 starts. A 1:1 TD:INT ratio and 3x as many fumbles as rushing TDs.

The Bears actually managed to find a guy who is even worse than Mitch Trubisky.

Pick your poison, blitz or no blitz. Blitz being record setting bad.

Trivia, Bledsoe went 45 for 70, only 64%. 47 attempts in the 2nd half, but IDK what his completion % was.

Our blitzes got penetration fairly often, but Herbert was brilliant navigating the pocket and then finding an open WR - often much further downfield than 3-4 yards. Herbert outplayed Kirk today by seven trillion miles - even though their stats ‘somewhat” similar.

It's something we've mentioned numerous times. We're at a huge disadvantage by having a statue at qb.

Love him, hate him, anywhere in between - I don’t care - #8 is holding the ball too long too often.

Donatell was horrible, Flores is average, might never be great.

It's hard to evaluate coaches when you have a QB that sees things slowly, has no pocket presence, has many throws that are late, but looks ok at times because he has a good arm that can make accurate throws.
