Teams that have their QB and have a chance at a Super Bowl for this year and possibly more years:

Miami - Tua
Buffalo - Josh Allen
Baltimore - LamJack
Cincinnati - Burrow
Jacksonville - TLaw
Kansas City - Mahomes
LA Chargers - Herbert
Philly - Hurts
San Fran - Purdy

Teams that have recently taken a chance and that chance remains to be seen:

Jets - Aaron Rodgers
Browns - Watson
Colts - Richardson
Texans - Stroud
Carolina - Bryce Young
Detroit - Jared Goff

Teams that appear to have a failed try:

New England - Mac Jones
Pittsburgh - Pickett
Tennessee - Tannehill
Denver - Mr. Unlimited
Dallas - Dak
Arizona - Murray
Minnesota - Cousins
Chicago - Fields
Green Bay - Love

Teams that don't appear to even be trying:

Washington - Sam Howell?
Atlanta - Desmond RIdder?
Las Vegas - Not even sure who their qb is
New Orleans - Also don't know who their QB is

Weird Ducks

Seattle - Is Geno Smith working out?
La Rams - It worked but now it's not working but by golly it worked so everything is fine? I'd be fine if I had a recent championship.
Tampa - See LA Rams

Its a pretty good run down.

IMO Garappolo at Vegas and Carr at NO fit into the Cousins Dak echelon of things. EDIT: Jones in here as well.

Mayfield current run pushes just above the Howell Ridder category for now.

Reminder that if you take every snap and throw the ball straight into the ground you get a QB rating of 39.6.

Russell Wilson's career-low passer rating for a game was 37.9 with Seattle in 2018. He's now at 31.2

Hackett, " I get an NFL coach gig with Russell Wilson? Awesome ". only to later figure out " He won't run around anymore, thinks he is a pocket passer ".

Sean Payton " I am the smartest man in the room, Hackett is too stupid to use him correctly, I will be god by week 8". only to later realize " Even I, god of football offense, can't get anything out of this guy ".

He should try cheating in a manner that puts the health of the opposing players at risk. Has he tried that?

I appreciate that. It looks like it's not such an impossiblity to get your QB and have a shot a a title. Improbable on one try? Yes. But nine teams managed to do it.

Peyton probably thinks he made Drew Brees.

Feeling like the Viking way will be to pull out a win this weekend when a lot of us don’t really want it.

Tank talk doesn’t fly with all fans but we’re looking at a real opportunity here scoring a high draft pick. No wins we collect this year will mean anything really. Even if we went on a run to push for a playoff spot we’re completely outclassed by more than a team or two.

It’s a weird place to be, envisioning them so happy to pull out a road victory in a place where it’s been tough to do so…and not be happy for them - at all.

Believe this weekend's results will go a long ways in determining the team's future for the remainder of the year and beyond. Sure could see Hunter traded and maybe Cleveland. Cousins will be here until the end of the season whether we like it or not. Going to be a grind.

Unless a team has been hankerin for some Cousins and don’t want to wait, offering him like 3 additional years fully guaranteed no way does Cousins uproot/disrupt the family.

I just hope they brought in 20 extra scouts who specialize in QB analysis, the entire scouting staff worked overtime this week focusing on QBs, and today they get the weekend off to recharge

Way to early to call Love a failure. Heck, too soon to call Fields a failure.

Stroud is very strong for a rookie on a bad team

Wilson was done his last year in Seattle

Worse than him not running is the massive decline in his arm strength

He went from being the best deep ball thrower in the NFL to a guy who doesn't seem to be able to go 40 yards downfield

As for Cousins, gotta cut him next year and eat whatever is left on the terrible contract.

Draft QBs until you get one who can play

Worked for Philly when Wentz lost it

I’d take Fields over Cousins for the difference in cap hit alone..

The bears are competing for the division title, the Vikings are on a path to a top 5 draft pick..

The waste of money and years at QB guaranteed contract money is a crime against every Vikings fan, but the KFC Stan.

They Stan alone…

They have same record as Vikings. Fields is awful. An awful qb doesn’t work no matter what the cap number is.

The NFL fined #Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed $13,659 for unsportsmanlike conduct — removing his helmet to argue a flag against him late in last week’s win over the #Vikings.

Officials picked up the original flag and didn’t flag Sneed for removing his helmet either

‐‐ I think the officials were actually Viking fans doing what they could to get Caleb

I declare a Mulligan, on the bears record, but not that I’d rather Have Fields than Cousins…

Our team is losing because someone can’t lead a set of skill players to winning or scoring Drives even when gifted field position..

That pick six was just stupid stupid

I now have concerns about Caleb, the loss to Notre Dame.

I don't know if I can truly root against the Vikings when the game starts. I just want a future QB that brings hope.

Maybe we can draft Caleb in the 2nd round bc surely all 32 GM’s dropped their 1st overall/1st round grade on him now.

Throw out the tape!

Cousins is on the decline

If he can't carve up our defense, slim chance he is a franchise QB.

No way we get Williams unless we pick #1. KAM better hire a QB consultant for the draft to scout the rest of the college QBs.

Cine a healthy scratch and Booth not far behind.

With gratifying one score wins against the two worst teams in the NFL, we are currently 7th in draft order although Ari, NE, and the NYG have to play.
