Barring a blockbuster trade for a QB, we almost have to sell high on Hunter now, right?

Agree with an earlier post... start Hall, see what we have. Like some players on defense, he's playing for a 2024 roster spot.

I would think so. Unless landing Wentz is enough to keep him here. Interesting few days ahead.

There’s several reports that Wentz is a locker room cancer. Nope!

48-ish hours to get the deal done.

I don't think I'd do anything to give up any future picks. The Wilfs might not be able to help it though.

We have three players with Hall of Fame potential talent. Jefferson, Darrisaw and Hunter. When you have players of that caliber you need to keep them on your team. They should not trade any of them.

One minute, enjoying the 'double' win (Minny win, GB loss) at GB, watching Love flounder like the shit QB he is, and laughing at Marty wanting money for a bet he didn't make.

Then the KFC injury.

Then Phil losing it while immediately lashing out at others over losing KFC. IMO the season is lost, and we have an opportunity to trade a couple of players for at least something. And duh, we will be picking higher now as compared to an hour ago.

So while that isn't the way to lose KFC or anyone, things are ok. Marty and Phil, go enjoy nature or something.

Personally, this 2 game stretch is better overall football than what we had last year. Ride it out with Hall and Wentz.

We can get a QB in draft if we really want to. #1 QB is decided but 2-6 is a crapshoot.

I personally don't want him either.

Kwesi has 48 hours to decide. At the very least need another qb until Mullins is back. Maybe fortify the defense some how if they think they can still make the playoffs w/o Kirk. Love is not good but our defense looked very good.

Kirk was 1st in tds. 2nd in yards and 3rd in QB rating. Prob his best half season of his career.

Anybody wanting Wentz has a screw loose. He is an awful qb. I'd sell off any parts with value and get a good long look at Hall.

I said it Monday night. Kirk played the best game I've personally ever seen against the Niners. He was making some great throws today too.

We have three players with Hall of Fame potential talent. Jefferson, Darrisaw and Hunter. When you have players of that caliber you need to keep them on your team. They should not trade any of them.

You trade a pending UFA if you project you cannot afford him because of the upcoming contracts and dead cap.

Exactly why Kirk and Hunter were brought up earlier in the year with such frequency

I have a screw loose. I think the guy is self aware enough to know that this is his last chance.

It better be a #1 and change or you hang up the phone.

I heard the same about Jeff George. Bring Wentz in as a backup for a week to start. There are better options yes but what is the cost? Mullins back may not be healed so we may need two.

Sometimes a guy down to his last chance can work out. Do whatever as long as it's not costing future picks.

Wentz agent should be begging to be put on the Practice squad by tomorrow so the Vikes can get a look at him.

Why? If, say, we can't pay Hunter why stubbornly hold out for a 1st then get nothing while turning down a more likely 2nd or 3rd (and the 3rd would be better than any comp pick).
