It could easily come crashing down this next week.

But what a fun ride it could be.

In the vid of DLs O'Connell mentioned the need to beware next week.I thought that was good. I'm conditioned to expect a big fall after something great happens

I think we all are. I'm cautiously optimistic. My realistic expectations are for Dobbs to be a great backup for the franchise. My unrealistic ones are that we catch lightning in a bottle and go on a run deep into the playoffs this season. Whatever happens this season got interesting in a hurry.

According to @PFF, Mekhi Blackmon is the Vikings best cornerback through nine games, with a 70.7 grade.

Yay he doesn’t miss them all!

I heard people say every good draft pick the draft team had to talk him out of trading out of that spot but every bad one Kwesi confidently called the pick.

Also before each pick he states: I AM the great and mighty Kwesi!

His draft picks getting PT so far....Roy, TJ (traded for picks), Ingram, Blackmon, Addison plus UDFA/FA Carter, Pace, Jackson. You may want to rethink the 1 pick opinion.

Defense is steadily moving up; Top 5 in DVOA the last 4 weeks---now ranked in the 10-12 range.

You're probably right Todd, I am likely getting too excited over one week.

Love the potential with Dobbs, hopefully he grows well into the KOC system.

We're giving him credit for good draft picks for players that he traded for?

Not only that. Playing time doesn't mean squat. Although I will admit the latest draft looks better than his first.

I do get that trading a draft pick for a productive player can absolutely be a good thing.

But it doesn't say anything about a person'a ability to judge college talent. Just that they can identify guys who are already good/successful at the Pro Level...

Right. It doesn't even include nfl playing time, when Cine gets cut and goes on to start for the Puget Sound Community College debate team, Phil is going to include that in his draft weights and measurements scale.

Thank God for Ingram. He's single-handedly pushed the 2022 class from hideous up to almost ugly.

as per pff - if the vikings beat the saints this weekend, our chances of making the playoffs are 74%...if we lose, our chances are 41%...factoring in tiebreakers, saints being NFC, etc - it's a 33% swing...the saints are much more important than the broncos, raiders, bengals....

S Lewis Cine. Georgia | Junior. ........YUCK
CB Andrew Booth. Clemson | Junior. .......YUCK
G Ed Ingram. LSU | Senior. .......was YUCK but now maybe
LB Brian Asamoah. Oklahoma | RS Junior. .....he's fine, maybe small reach
CB Akayleb Evans. Missouri | RS Senior. .....BEST pick in this draft, and i admit i am a STAN..i like the kid
DL Esezi Otomewo. Minnesota | RS Senior. ......Fine
RB Ty Chandler. North Carolina | Senior. .......Fine
T Vederian Lowe. Illinois | Senior........Fine
WR Jaylon Nailor.....Fine
TE Nick Muse......Fine

i think the hate might be over stated...his first 2 picks were pretty horrific (along with probably bad trades)...

but the rest are pretty reasonable

I don't know man. Only 3 of those see the field and when ppl bring up Addison (who's been great, no doubt) it has to be pointed out that KAM wanted to trade and KOC had to talk him in to making that pick.

Of those 3 you can make a really good case for "maybe, bad and ugly" .

I think a lot of people use it against Kwesi...not being a stans or sans guy. It was a bad draft overall for high end talent which is easily seen by google.

yep, more data needs to be collected

lots of questions to be answered

I had already wrote off Ingram, but I guess he might be a decent back up

He’s playing. Maybe with a limit on snaps but I knew he didn’t need more than 5 weeks.

Don’t need him to win and he’s a no go at 98%.

Major mega trade would do more for this team than paying through nose to keep him happy for 3 years until he asks for a kazillion more.

Esp know that we know he’s soft.
