Per Darren Wolfson of KSTP in the Twin Cities, tight end T.J. Hockenson has not yet had surgery to repair the torn ACL and MCL in his knee because the swelling has not yet gone down enough for the surgery to be performed. This could, potentially, have a significant impact on his status for the start of the 2024 season.

There is a possibility that he may miss the month of September.

There is also the possibility he may never be the same player again.

Not even considering the injury Kwesi got completely played by Det GM. Giving up 3 picks for the right to make Hock the highest paid TE in lue of a TE rich draft was just flat out stupid.

Also, an anti-analytics type move. Not only were the Lions on the front porch, they got inside and hacked Kwesi's code.

Queasy isn't very bright.

Brilliant job by Queasy passing up on Hamilton to take Cine. Didn't need that kind of talent.

Wonder if Vegas will take odds on how many shots of Taylor Swift will have to endure during the Superbowl?

It’s amazing seeing the maturation of Mahomes. He doesn’t have the offensive talent around him that he once did, so he’s morphed from a gunslinger into a surgeon.

You either have a QB that can get you there, get tge job done, or you don’t.

Worth whatever you have to trade.

Yup.

KC has gone from an offensive team to more of a defensive one, but Mahomes is still their driving force.

It actually puts more pressure on him and he’s risen to the challenge.

Kwesi looking especially dopey today. Hamilton was incredible and now Williams has an incredible play for the Lions.

David Montgomery tells Mattison and Chandler to “ hold my beer”, while I run tough to a SB appearance..

I’d say it’s more Brad Holmes telling Kwesi to hold his beer.

Watching these games today really demonstrate how far we have to go to make a real run for it. We need to get a lot better in a lot of spots.

This franchise uses its feet for target practice, quite regularly..

The past few years we have been spending all of our money on KC and keep forgetting about what wins games......the trenches. We are f**n years away the way we are built right now.

BTW, Greg Olsen crushes Romo as an analyst. Romo’s “insight” was to tell us it was 4 down territory down by 7 with 2 to go. No shit Tony.

When healthy, he’s probably the best skill position player in the game.

Just wait until we resign him and then extend JJ and all we can afford are Brad's junior college grads.....

I don't think Purdy can win this game for SF. It is going to take McCaffery running to a win if anything.

He's MUCH more skilled after the catch. Smart move for sure.

And he’s in the first year of his rookie deal.

Hock is really good, but you’re paying full freight for his 2nd contract because you can’t find your own rookies.

Detroit hit this draft out of the park.
