Trying to stay in the moment. Trying to stay positive.

When I’m not on it visions of Vikings gotta Vikings setting a record as the highest win total #5 seed ever getting bounced in the 1st round.

I can visualize Jim Nantz or someone saying that late in the 4th quarter as the camera pans to drunk fans celebrating. Ah, another f-in record in the futility column. I hate those damn factoids lol! And for those who thought 5-10 wins and the rest is icing on the cake, the team did well but it doesn't soften the blow.

Time to visualize wins!

And record wise, we should destroy Chicago. The network might be cringing as they anticipate low ratings but the saving grace is it's a division game and a chance to showcase Caleb Williams late in the season. Relatedly, those things - plus whether we are punching above our weight class - could make the game a toss up. And a toss up in that there are similar odds for Caleb to bomb due to Flores' magic vs Caleb having his coming out party on national television.

A solid, confident team doesn't care about the seed, home vs away, etc. KOC may need to do some of that Denny Green magic and create an us against them mentality. On a higher scale, Jordan was similar in that he even took certain indirect things as a personal affront to get motivated.

It's definitely the one-game-at-a-time 4th quarter. The current leaders of the team need to step up and maybe others will emerge. Under no circumstances do you lose to the Bears on Monday night. You play well enough to overcome any turnovers, bad calls by the refs, weird bounces, etc. Zero excuses!

We have been good on the road......

Those foolish bastards.

Yes, I predicted 5 to 7 wins but merely as a ploy to disguise my lofty expectations from the jinxes, curses and degradations that prey upon this franchise.

We're right where I knew we'd be ... all along. + 7 wins.

For my money, the ATL game was the start of the main course, the last 4-5 games of the season and the playoffs – the meat and roast pig (and tofu for people who value their health over reputation). Everything before was hors d'oeuvres and stupid salads. You can't tell who people are when they're nibbling on shit.

Time to jump up and put our boot on that steaming bird, and snap off a leg like it was meant to be ours.

I'm tired of just wanting a seat at the table.

Plus this is the time of year where we hope to proclaim we dominated the LOS, we came out strong and played the full 60 minutes, their QB never had a chance, our pass D was smothering, we could run or pass at will, we outcoached them big time.

I like how we dominated Houston early, but looking at the results of their schedule shows they have been up and down and perhaps the timing was, ahem, timely.

Speaking of those early years, I loved the dominance of the 73-76 teams but the rest of the division was a bunch of doormats. Looked it up and for that 4-year span none of them ever finished above .500.

I’m fine if the Bears are checked out and we roll them.

I’m fine if they try and we roll them.

Above all else is collecting the W. If we are to be anything we don’t drop one we should win.

It’s just phenomenal that we corrected the 2 game slide with 6 consecutive wins. And we appear to ready to hit on all cylinders. To get hot with a month to go.

It feels amazing.

It’s weird. Living in the now letting go of the past is easier than living in the now and not dreaming of what’s next.

We’re in such a good place, just have to enjoy the ride.

Four games remaining of the regular season and we are 11-2, who would have thought that? We should/better take care of business against the Bears and then be ready to play the best ball of the season for the tough final three games. Let's get and stay healthy to get ready for the playoffs. SKOL!!!

Looked up division tie-breaking procedures. Not sure, but it appears if the Vikings win out and the Lions win out except losing to the Vikings, then the tie-breaker resorts to the 5th one: strength of victory. If that means Points Differential, they all but have it locked up with their 183 to our 99.

Flip the scores of the Jacksonville games (52-6 and 12-7), and the PD between the two teams is TWO points.

A win is a win? Well, that depends.

There’s only the tiniest margin to get the Division on a tie breaker. Might as well forget about it.

The lions have a great team and that makes up for his shit emotional decisions. If he was the coach of the bears or patriots he’d be fired.

Agreed David! It seems like he's unstable and if they don't win it all this year it's all downhill. He just can't help himself.

Defense is down like 8 original starters now....2 more out for the year.

Doesn't conference record determine things after head to head and division record? Cause Lions would win on that one too.

The #1 seed is not 100% if we win out but very likely. It’ll be the Eagles counting on a number of unlikely things falling in place strength of schedule wise.

Let’s hunt this MFr down!
