Have we figured out our backup plan at quarterback yet?

Patience. By Sunday it will all be decided.

Better hope nobody gets hurt at wide receiver either. That is a paper thin depth chart.

That's probably our 2nd deepest position. After OLB

Deep? As in a lot of players? Or deep with talent?

Jalen Nailor has 40 catches in three seasons. You can attribute about 2/3rds of them to having great players opposite him. He's just a guy.

Our 3rd guy gets 40 catches and 5 TDs. And you just said we have a two great starters. And Rondale Moore is on the team.

And we are thin at that position? I think you live in Bizarro World.

What team has 3 or 4 guys that aren't "JAG's"?

Rondale Moore is a marginal football player..............at-best!

Probably wouldn't be the most popular pick but if that Michigan TE drops to #24, I could see us picking him.

He can be effective as a gadget guy(a number 4). But, I will agree he hasn't lived up to the hype he had coming out of college. Too many injuries.

That's going to be an interesting thing to watch this year. Have been run shy because our OLine sucked or is that who KOC is? No excuses this year. 2 capable backs and revamped line.

I could see us over 500 this year. Newcomers Fries, Kelly and Mason point to that.

I am very happy with the upgrades on the offensive line. I have to say that. But as much as I like Aaron Jones as a player, there is a lot of miles on those treads.

I think we are planning on a DET type offense this year. Run the ball and play action. Hopefully JJ and Addison buy in because that means more blocking from them.

IMO, Detroit has what I believe is a generational player at running back in Gibbs. That kid is special. The Vikings have nothing like that.

3rd WR is actually our #1 TE. Weird but the Vikings 3rd WR were hardly used as they are more blockers or they went 2 TE (TJ/Oliver)
Also Nailor wasn't used much after Addison returned from Ankle Injury.

QB will be Sam Howell or another backup. Another rumor is we may draft OSU starting QB in the 4th or 5th to be our backup.

I'm dissatisfied with the line upgrades. Brandel is still our starting LG and that's unacceptable. And please, don't anyone tell me how much better he will be with Darrisaw back.

So what. He's more likely to drag them down than they are to pull him up.

The vikes have a backup plan, …

but you can’t see past your absolute HATE, of JJM, so you are

1. Blind…..

2. Hopelessly biased..

3. Not in any way privy to what management plans are, going forward.

They have a plan. Just because they don't articulate their plan to Brad H of southern California, doesn't mean they don't have one. I am sure they have a plan with multiple contingencies. I believe thoroughly that the QB situation will be solidified by the middle of next week. After the draft and the end of compensatory picks calculation. I'm not worried. they are well aware of how bad things can be if you don't have a good QB.

I'll be happy with who ever they draft but I do have three favorites going into tomorrow, assuming we don't trade out of the first, one of whom should be available at 24:

Zable, Harmon and Nolan.

14 wins last season. That's a lot of wins with one of the worst offensive lines in football.

Let's be honest, A couple of those games we won in spite of Sam Darnold. And the last two games, Game 17 and wild card he was awful. Another Cousins if you ask me. Great in regular season, wilts like old lettuce in the playoffs.
