Was listening to NFL radio today and Pat Kirwan ( who I think is one of the best football minds out there) said this. "If a team is looking to draft a franchise QB this year there aren't any. In fact this years draft is so bad most of the kids drafted will never make it on a NFL roster."

I still think Kirk will be hunting for a starting gig somewhere. There are a number of teams looking and few options out there. I don't think the Vikings will do more than offer him a chance to compete.

If Carr gets anything close to that, it will have to have a ton of non-guaranteed money. No one even knows if he can make all the throws - or how his arm will hold up.
