Was excited to read we were awarded rights to a G and C

Then to read the C has never snapped in the NFL and the G is coming off a neck injury

IDK, maybe they are destined for the PS or will be cut in a week.

Bill does this make you feel any better about it?

#Vikings claim Trevor Keegan off waiver. Guard from the University of Michigan. JJ McCarthy’s teammate.
Fun fact he is dating one of the Cavinder twins so I’m sure if he’s active for games we will see one or possibly both of them at US Bank stadium at some point.

Why it's Phil again!

Projection anyone? It obviously floats your boat. Not surprised in the least. Rhubarb patch, nasty rash, and all.

Not to mention for years you lapped up Kwesi's injured acquisitions like a dog in summer so an IR designation for a neck injury is a mere flesh wound to you.

Not sure which branch you served for but did you get extra badges for narcissism and exaggeration? You obviously are the one that is rash or has a nasty rash.....weird you use that now but you always make it about yourself...maybe you are pissed off Kuminga didn't sign with the Lakers?

Apparently you say or think everything first.....

No, the post was all about you.

Of course it was LT. Narcissist.

Have fun fanaticizing the twins will be at, where did you say... oh, US Bank Stadium.

The Gophers BB team plays there in the winter but once again no idea what you are talking about.

Milton is exactly who a "qb whisperer" should be working with and not one like Brosmer. Milton may need some help learning the game, but he has all the athletic tools to work with.

KOC as the QB whisperer is bullshit. What QB did he transform? Cousins had multiple years with big numbers when KOC came. Darnold came here after a year under Shanahan and was plugged into an offense that had a level of skill players he had never played with before. What did Mullens, Dobbs, JJ, Brosmer and Hall do under KOC? Good QB did well in KOC's system. QB that sucked, continued to suck.

Granted there are/were still high expectations for JJM....what exactly did you expect from the rest though? Mullens, Dobbs, and Hall haven't done much of anything anywhere and Brosmer is still young.

You miss the whole point. A QB whisperer is expected to improve QBs more than other coaches can. He did nothing to improve JJM, Brosmer, Dobbs, Mullens, and Hall.

KOC's QB development record is 1-5-1. The one 'win' is Darnold and that's being generous. The tie is Cousins.

That looks more like the record of a QB killer than a QB whisperer.

Hence the quotes around his moniker

When you are dredging deep with examples of journeymen. Further proves inability of Kwesi moreso than KOC.

What do you consider Wentz, Darnold, and Kirk. I guess you have to have enough talent to play the position and those three do.

See now?

I would have taken the original post as a joke, but your sarcastic smilie showed your intent. Then again, you often get their use wrong.

So now it's Kwesi's fault.

1. KOC more than likely had a say in all the QB acquisitions.
2. A QB Whisperer is supposed to be able to identify QBs with at least a little bit of talent. Guess he failed in that department too.

Also, adding Wentz to your list of successful projects is a false narrative. Wentz' rating last year was quite below his career average (somewhat expected, no QB Whisperer help there) and below the last two years he took significant snaps. And you're the guy who thinks Wentz should be QB #3!

Wentz is Wentz, just like Cousins. And Cousins had a better collective QB rating in Minny before KOC arrived than after.

Updated QB Whisperer record: 1-5-2

Looking for someone to blame? How about just accepting the truth. In what reality is Dobbs, Mullens, or Hall anything more than backup caliber at best.

When given someone with talent KOC has done just fine......the Vikes won 5 of 9 games JJM started and finished last year and on the road against Detroit and Chicago.

You are literally saying a QB Whisperer first needs a talented QB to succeed. Sounds like a standard, run if the mill coach to me.

You are all but stating JJM was "just fine". So why has he fallen so low, even regressed? Not to mention you keep hiding behind the bogus record as two of those wins were against a Det D that was in shambles and a GB team in week 18 that fielded players taken from the concession stands. People went over this. Guess you forgot.

And you forgot JJM and Brosmer on KOCs cavalcade of losers.

Does Bill think the Vikings should win with 3rd string QBs? Apparently when he can't prove his point.
Does Bill realize why Mullens or Hall don't have a job right now? Apparently not.
Did Phil mention GB or Chicago as a road win? Chicago.
Did Phil ever say we were "just fine" with JJM? Hopeful at times during 2025 but not after only being in 9 games.

Are these 4 areas of Bill embellishing on his points again? Yes

Clarity is obviously where you embellish. I thought you don't copy and are the first to do things?
So you are deflecting once again......because?

2 simple questions:
Nobody can look positively even at JJM in you eyes ever......but what was the actual QB whisperer record?
Did MN win at Detroit and Chicago last year?

Updated QB Whisperer record: 1-5-2

How many games did JJM start last year? 10
How many games did they win in those starts? 6
Did they win on the road at Chicago and Detroit with JJM? Yes.
Did Bill exaggerate once again in his last post? Yes
Does that make KOC a QB whisperer or JJM starting quality even with those 6 wins before Bill embellishes in a reply? No
Will Bill correct his QB whisperer W/L record even though it obviously wrong? Most Likely No.

Does Phil believe JJMs time last year was a success? Yes, "just fine" he says
Is Phil clinging onto JJM's bogus W/L record last year? Embarrassingly so
Has JJM improved? No, and a case could be made that he has regressed
Is Phil being a JJM fan to the bitter end? Yes, but he has a history of flip-flopping in a second
Is KOC's 1-5-2 record for QBs accurate? Yes

Clarity is obviously where you embellish. I thought you don't copy and are the first to do things?
So you are deflecting once again......because?

2 simple questions:

1-5-2

Keep trying, but you can't move that goalpost. AND, you heard it here first.

Move the goalposts?

Your point is that he should have turned Hall, Dobbs, Mullens, or 2 rookies in 2025 into top starters. JJM is about the only valid one but continue on.

I will let you have that one clearly.

You really should post that opinion on Facebook or Twitter and see how it goes.

Phil opens his bag of tricks.... pulls out trick #17: Make up stuff via exaggeration, assign it to him, and add lots of smilies. Knock yourself out!

But the goalposts remain solid: 1-5-2.

WEll, this has been an entertaining little pissing match...

But can we find something else to talk about in the Vikings threads today?

Like are they any edge rushers out there for us to acquire at this point. The depth there is extremely thin....

They should also consider extending VanGinkel (UFA after the season) if he is productive in order to rework/absorb his $9 million in void money next year.

He ruined any promise Dobbs had.

When Dobbs didn't know the system and he and KOC were playing "sandlot" football, he was absolutely electric. Dobbs was literally the talk of the league for 2 weeks.

But the more Dobbs learned the system, the less successful he became. It completely stripped him of his playmaking and his instincts.

Kirk was the exact same QB his final 3 years in Washington that he was his entire career here.

Yeah, lets talk about something other than if KOC is a qbwhsp or if JJM has talent!

He's injury prone and young. What happens in a few years?
It's been wildly reported he's a real PITA behind the scenes and isn't very coachable, especially for a young QB.

Does that work??

Pretty interesting stat on FS1 today. Most wins over the past 4 years (KOC's time) and how many QB's have been used:

1. Eagles 50-18 3 qb's
2. Bills 49-18 1 qb
3. Chiefs 46-22 2 qb's
4. Lions 45-23 1 qb
5. Vikes 43-25 8 qb's

Ah, don't be too critical of him. After all, to restate, just a few weeks ago he said this about his poor play: "It was great to have that experience and that data logged in, to be able to make that throw next time... You get it out now and log that feeling..."

Obviously there were no computers or spreadsheets on Planet X before this preseason.

My favorite part of the post I said about 'wins and qb's used'. During the segment they were running a drill from TC as they talked through it. The drill was both QB's had to keep their eyes down field while navigating little cones around their feet, simulating moving around in the pocket. Not getting flushed but moving. The cones looked to be about a 4 radius with 4 cones total. No idea where the ball went after it left both guys hands. You couldn't see that part.

That said, KM didn't even come close to touching them but JJM was kicking them all over the place - lol

Again what promise with Dobbs?
2018 Pitt
2020 Pitt
2022 Tenn
2023 Arizona/MN
2024 SFO
2025 NE
2026 Detroit

Looks like no team has seen enough to keep him around for more than a year and it was an emergency mid season signing. He was also on the Jags so 9 teams in his career now.

Kirk----did he do better for KOC or Zimmer? It wasn't like KOC ruined him.
