Brad, McCarthy already did something Darnold couldn't do, beat Detroit, and he beat them IN Detroit.

Did you watch the Chase Daniel video on McCarthy's performance ?

(I am challenging Brad's position on McCarthy, without goading or insulting him, without name calling or using really old references, and without twisting his words into my fantasy of what he was saying, no personal attacks on Brad), hopefully this gets Brad to respond, and keeps him around awhile.

I don't think it really matters.

I find someone that feels the need to always respond negatively towards everything I post, and then resorts to name-calling, is insecure and immature.

At the moment, I am really only interested in Brad's response with regards to McCarthy.

That's more of an accurate description than it is name-calling.

You're probably not used to getting a taste of your own medicine, or someone calling out the things you typically do, you use bullying behavior.

I am happy I got an answer from Brad before a bully, followed by his 'Lord of the Flies' band of followers all chimed in with the usual, goading and attacking Brad before he responds with their usual:

1) Brad only comments when the Vikings lose
2) Comments about the aged Shades
3) Comments about California players
4) Comments on Brad's character
5) Calling Brad a troll or other names
6) Distortion of what Brad has said

etc.....

After seeing this latest series of passive-aggressive comments tossed my way the past two days, here is a post to clean up the record. It feels petty on my part but I don't like false accusations.

I did not call you any names Marty, not a single one. Go read through them and post them if you think otherwise. I did add a lot of adjectives (hair-brained, etc) about your Breece Hall pie-in-the-sky notion, but no name-calling.

You however, called me:

a$$hole
small mind
troll (oh wait, that was Tom)
appears needy
small minded (three times)
lie
simpleton
untrustworthy
negative Nelly simpleton
a-hole (apparently for Jandro and myself)

Oh, actually, I did call you something a few times. That being "advanced thinker". But only after you said that about yourself.

Ultimately, the facts show this is a case of pure projection on your part.

I don't keep records of every asshole thing you do Bill, but I have listed several reasons why some people don't visit this site any more. It's not just name-calling, you complained about people not coming to this site anymore, and then tried putting it on me.

Just look in a G-damn mirror.

Just about every time I or Brad (and some others) post something, you go negative, and try to bully people by putting down their ideas, and use sarcasm, bring up old things about them, make up names about what they say, make up your own fabrication of what they said, complain that they're posting too much about something, complain about their defending their points, try to bully them, and then others join in.

I actually enjoy your bullying in the political threads, because I usually side with you politically. It is refreshing to go to political threads where I agree with most of the group. There are too many other sites where right wingers dominate the conversation, and THEY are the bullies.

I am not going on a rant about how "I am always right", I am going on a rant about reasons as to why we have lost several good posters on this board.

This rant, and the reasons I listed, supercede any confusion on Bills.

I apologize to the other Bill, for confusing him with the awful Bill I have been ranting about, but I am glad it led to some important points I wanted to make. The points could easily have been made without confusing the 2 Bills.

David, I am far from perfect, as David Boston and Bernardo Harris would attest; and my 40% on NFL predictions would also attest to that

It's not just the diet of your 'I am right' posts. It's adding new twists and taking being right to a new level, a level in which there is some fallout. I'm not "complaining" about this nor your name calling, just pointing out your denial and hypocrisy. And you are not the woe is me victim you make yourself out to be.

So by all means continue to do what you do and post how you post. Really, the only suggestion I have is to at least TRY to assign your complaints to the proper person even though you said it doesn't matter.

Anyway, back to your denial about being right (then using that as a platform for further attacks)... it's a wide river to swim across:

- I have made several valid points in regards to Breece Hall,

- you have never been right about anything where you told me I am wrong.

- like minded, small minded people

- advanced thinking

- think I am still right about this

- I have great ideas.

- getting a CB, that's pretty obvious to most simpletons

- I correctly predicted the final score of the 1998 NFC Championship game

- a poster from Philadelphia said he remembered the prediction and yelled out my name when the FG missed.

- it pleases you simpletons,

- Kwesi wasn't as forward thinking on it, as I was.

- I am usually ahead of the curve on many things

- It's not imagined that I am ahead of the curve, I just usually am.

- Hall was just a great idea of mine

- Just about every time I or Brad (and some others) post something, you go negative...... Usually you if it's a bad idea because IMO you have the worst ideas. Lately some to Brad, with me bitching the Darnold stuff is in year two.
- and try to bully people by putting down their ideas..... After pointing out six ways from Sunday the idea is a non-starter, there is often a tit for tat that gets worse. Personalizing things by calling me a$$hole for example usually increases the volume so to speak. More on "bully" below.
- and use sarcasm...... Guilty!
- bring up old things about them..... Yeah I have but not much here lately, although yes, Hall was venturing into Bernardo Harris/David Boston territory. And I didn't bring up your conspiracy theories about 9/11 that you still post about, lol.
- make up names about what they say..... Guilty. But usually after a while. Hair-brained, pie-in-the-sky, unicorn, non-sensical, etc.
- make up your own fabrication of what they said..... Actually more often I make heavy use of their OWN words and quote their material. Yours especially because the shoe fits perfectly.
- complain that they're posting too much about something..... I do point out habitual incessant posting that two people on here love to do for whatever reason(s).
- complain about their defending their points..... Certainly not complaining, maybe that's a case of comments being lost in translation or how you perceive them.
- try to bully them...... An easy term to throw around but that's more of a cop out than anything. Who was doing the name-calling? Again, stop playing the victim or, lol, martyr.
- and then others join in...... Actually they join in whenever they want.

I've definitely done all those things, and more, although for many not to the extent you think they occur. But that's ok. You go on believing what you will. And when I see another one of your fantasy ideas that doesn't make sense, I'll be there to bash it depending on how 'out there' it is.

Bill, thanks for reposting my many thoughts, you have reinforced to me that I was right about nearly everything with regards to the current discussion.

It's unfair to single you out as the only bully Bill, it's really group bullying. But as I stated earlier, I agree with most of your opinions in the political threads, so I appreciate the group bullying the right wingers. Many other political groups, it is the right wingers that tend to do most of the bullying and name-calling, so it's refreshing with this board that the opposite tends to occur.

I don't expect you to change, I was only pointing out your behavior, and why the group bullying (I incorrectly stated it was just you) has driven some people from this board. Thankfully Brad is still around, despite all the personal attacks he has endured.
