Is the upcoming pick in the 5th the last chance for a hopeful starter at C or RB?

Target a premium position - at a position we are light at - with someone who has some good special teams tape.

CB.

FB

Anti-premium position. But very likely the top-rated FB in the draft. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow. Johnson and Rivers were two of the guys I was hoping the Vikes might get with their 5th round picks. Bing, Bing, before the Vikes pick Demings.

OKay. I don't know anything other than where they sit on the consensus draft board.

I don't know... not very exciting pick but if he plays FB probably has more impact this year than most of the guys I see left on the board.

I was hoping RB... but Vikes must really not like anybody.

Not super excited about trotting out Jones/Mason again.

This is the most depressing career stat line I have ever seen..

https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/max-bredeson-1.html

How is this guy, who played 12 snaps in 5 years, worth a draft pick?

He has minimum udfa invite written all over him…

Look at his stat page and explain how a guy like him is a fullback replacement for Ham?

6-2.. 222 lbs..

NO CARRIES IN FIVE YEARS..

12 plays in 5 years!

Omfg….

How does that career, in college even keep a scholarship

Oh wait.. he was a walk on..

Now he get to roll up to Eden prairie in his spanking new Kia..

Those were receptions, and I assume he had 0 carries?

Ham had 17 carries the past 5 years. 6 carries the last 3 years.

I didn't initially realize he was a FB.

This is why the chiefs are in a different category of management and coach..

Emmett Johnson

Emmett Johnson, a standout running back for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, finished his collegiate career (2022–2025) with 2,460 rushing yards, 702 receiving yards, and 20 total touchdowns.

His breakout 2025 season included 1,451 rushing yards, 12 touchdowns, and 46 receptions, leading him to earn First-Team All-Big Ten and Big Ten Running Back of the Year honors

so we replaced his loss, with a guy with ZEROS?

I can’t even begin to express how stupid that pick seems..

Completely dysfunctional organization. Hopefully one day it will change but that time isn't now unfortunately.

Max's stats are no big deal. After all, we threw away a 4th for Thielen and his 8 receptions.
