He could of cropped out everyone else using a snipping tool or paint but he wanted show everyone including Thad Lavine apparently.

Talkin' Twins:

The Twins have scored the 2nd-most runs in the AL and will still miss the playoffs.

The difference? 21 blown saves and a 67% save conversion rate.

And it was completely avoidable.

A year ago, the Twins traded Jhoan Duran and Louis Varland - two elite, controllable relievers - without adequately replacing either. They also let Brent Headrick go to another team for nothing.

Duran became an All-Star for Philly. Varland did the same for the Blue Jays, where Toronto reportedly viewed him as an “untouchable” bullpen cornerstone with control through 2030 - the only Jays reliever off-limits at the deadline. Meanwhile, Headrick has been a dominant setup reliever for the Yankees.

The Twins had the blueprint for a dominant bullpen.

They dismantled it for no reason and never replaced it.

2026 was another wasted season. Ownership and the front office deserve all of the blame.

A year later, nothing has changed.

Yep. They destroyed this team a year and a half ago. Traded most of our bullpen. I've said it elsewhere, they can't recover from that in one season. It will harm this team for a couple years unless the cheap as hell ownership is willing to overspend on any and all available bullpen arms in FA.

They assumed hitting wouldn't be that great. Jeffers, Bell, Lee, and Larnach all overachieved and Keaschall returned to his norm the second half.

Yes. Trading virtually an entire high quality bullpen away all at once is something I can’t recall a precedent for. I do commend them for at least trying to replace it at deadline this year. They got some legit arms even if it doesn’t equal what they traded away.

I like the starting rotation going into next season. Give me Lopez, Ryan, Taj, Zebby and Kramer. Sorry Ober, you’re my odd man out. Same for Prelim or whatever his name is. He was okay at times but still needs work.

I'll take Prielipp or Able over Kremer, but yeah the rotation has a lot going for it into next year. Move on from Ober. He's a 6'9 rag arm.

I think you have to trade Joe Ryan away by at least mid season next year. Ober made over $5 million last year which is a surprise to me.....yeah that isn't money well spent.

You take the money spent on Ober and Larnach alone last year......

Kremer has been fine for the Twins. So I’m throwing out his early season performance. And yes, Ober is who he is by now. A mid 4 ERA 88 mph nibbler. He won’t progress from there. I’d rather go with someone new.

I think Joe Ryan is a fraud at this point. He can't hold up for an entire season. He's a major reason why we fell out of realistic playoff contention by the beginning of September. Trade him and try to get something. For one year of control of a pitcher that fades badly every season, we will not get much...but get something.

Kremer is not under contract for next season. He gone. Unless the Twins want to go to arbitration. I don't see them dropping $10 million on him for next season.

Kremer is still under team control through next year and would likely get $7 to $9 million in arbitration. I would trades the him to clear the rotation spot the would otherwise bump one of Prielipp, Able or Matthews.

We over achieved the first half of the last two seasons because of how he pitched.
It was a minor miracle to hit the .500 mark at any time in 2026.

Yesterday was a great win. The Rangers needed that game and we denied them. Keaschall ended up being our MVP this season. Bradley was our most valuable pitcher. He should've had about 19 "wins," which is odd because our offense was the 2nd best in the AL. But his run support was really poor compared to every other pitcher on the team. Just think how great this lineup would be if Kirilloff had panned out?

If the Twins are out of it, I usually have the following standards

1. Yankees must die.
2. Redsox must die (Dodgers are close to climbing into this position.
3 Dodgers must die.
4. I root for the team that has suffered the longest drought or never has won, or appeared in a WS,

That means. Rays (never won), and Guardians (last won in 1948 or so) in the AL.

and Padres and Brewers, both who've never won, in the NL.

Which means it will be Dodgers and Yankees again.

I'd accuse you of copying and pasting this from last season, but you have condensed your explanation over the years. Getting lazy?
