It is so interesting to see how mediocre Love is...

especially after multiple years of people trying to talk him up like he is the next big thing....

he is not accurate, he is injured a lot...he just isn't a 220 million dollar QB

apparently he is the 6th highest paid player according to Forbes?!

couldn't happen to a better franchise lol

He is a little Kirk Cousins to me...
If everything is perfect around him, he can do a lot of damage.
But he doesn't seem to raise the team up at all when there are weaknesses... and he is making BANK.

GB is a horrible team until Jacobs and Parsons return and Chicago has a horrible defense.
TB may be the best defense we have face so far....which is why the switch to Murray.

Yeah we were on the wrong end of the Bijan Robinson show last year. A great RB.

Penix had a real nice game, no doubt set up by the run.

Buccaneers defense has allowed opponents to complete 75.4% of its passes, the second-worst mark in the NFL.

Deshaun Watson was 24/30, 238 Yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs.

I think it's worse than that.

Right now the OL can't run or pass block.
The DL can't stop the run.

Jacobs will help a bit.
Parsons isn't going to help the run def much.

This gave me flashbacks of some Vikes years... the MOST PAINFUL football to watch because there is so little you can to do to work around those problems.

AND... it is not a quick fix.
(and they don't have a 1st next year)
(and they have 2 players making boatloads that start hitting next year)

I'm having a very shaudenfraude day.

Somehow he only got sacked once.

And GB ran the ball 9 times for 17 yards, with a long of 6.

He only got sacked once because he gets his inaccurate throws out quickly. Seriously, sometimes I don't think he gets past his second read before he throws it away.

The Packers ran into what the Vikings ran into last year with Atlanta early in the season, Bijan and a decent defense, while the Pack ran into an 0-2 team that had been playing with a 3rd string QB, getting a lift with Penix.

Love is not a horrible QB, he is still arguably a better QB right now than anyone the Vikings have.

Like we saw in some Viking seasons many years ago, Josh Jacobs created a schism during their off-season, and they probably won't recover this season. That is why I picked them to finish last in the division this year, and that is probably the first time I have done that since about 1991.

I have no faith in Kyler, but will give him a chance, he seems like he has a decent amount of talent, but doesn't have the mental makeup to be great. Then again, I thought about the same thing about Darnold at one time

JJ is probably the best QB on the Vikings roster right now, and they are probably wasting their time starting anyone else, they should see if he can be developed. Then again, at one time, I thought Sean Salisbury was the best QB on the roster

I have Jordan Love on my FF team, and he provides a steady 50 points.

For the 1st 2 weeks, I had the highest score in the league, so far so good. I needed at least 60 points from Kenneth Walker III on Monday night football to win, as my opponent had KCs' kicker Butler, and Walker provided 74 points (it's a heavy scoring system).

IF Murray is sharp early, the Vikings could dominate, making it really fun to watch.

If it's a close game, I see the Vikings experiencing a similar fate as GB, going up against a team that is 0-2, except the Vikings are on the road, Mayfield making some plays, but with the way the Vikings defense is playing, the Bucs will probably need the refs helping them in order to win.

GB has 48 million in dead cap, 2 injured o lineman, Parsons, Love, Watson, and Jacobs as their top 6 in salary.

Nothing but poor cap management.

Vikings advantage with more dead cap is only 12 million in qb room.

GB is going to have a long season. Jacobs or no Jacobs they can't block anybody. Love is the type of QB who needs flawless protection to be effective. The picture isn't pretty on their oline:

-They let two oline starters walk in FA w/o viable replacements
-Their prize FA G Banks can't stay healthy and has been awful when he plays
-Their best player Zach Been Wally had season ending surgery
-Jordan Morgan their 1st rd pick in the 25 draft looks like a bust
-They don't have a 1st rd pick next season (via Parsons trade)

An oline is not something you can rebuild in one offseason esp w/o a 1st rd pick. Doubt they're cap healthy either with Love's big contract kicking in and they paid Parsons big money as well.

They could be in the toilet for a decade after all these brain dead moves. LeFlouer isn't necessarily the heart of the problem here.
