My absolute can't-miss, no-brainer, mark-it-down, crazy-not-to-bet-it lock of the week is taking San Francisco and giving the six points to Carolina.

Now, run to your bookies and bet the Panthers because I am as bad at this crap as any human on earth.

Bad is not the word.....

You have no idea how hard it is to get the game wrong every time. Try it some time.

I have. My record is 8 loses in a row on Streak for the Cash at ESPN.

Just as hard as getting them all right.

Exactly. Try flipping a coin and getting tails five times in a row. You could be there awhile.

Let's all pick the winners this week - no points, straight picks. This week is brutal.

Point spreads show the true skill of a prognosticator. Anyone can pick straight up winners and win at least 10 games a week easily. Though I will say this week only has 3 games with points spreads greater than 7 pts.

Colts -2.5
Bucs -1.5
Bills pk
Lions -2.5
Eagles -3.5
Chargers -2
Browns +5.5
Texans -7
Bears -3
Jags +7.5
Broncos -8
Seahwaks -12.5
49ers +3.5
Packers +6
Pats +3

Some tough games this week to predict

Quickest decision I have ever made on a pick. It is that obvious. Go with the hot hand and take Jacksonville getting 7 at home against Arizona.

This is where the losing streak ends!

Right.

10 games straight is easy some weeks.

Certainly not every week.

I'm all over the map picking for my wife's office pool.

6
14
10
12
5

etc...

Not to take anything away from your 14/16 Todd, but week 2 was also very good for me. I had just 3 games wrong, the teams lost, lost by 1, 3 and 4 points.

I like the 2nd week, as there tends to be plenty teams that rebound from the first week. I might go to Vegas next year for the 2nd week, it might be the best week for making money.

Brad, I'm going to give you my lock early as well. I MIGHT be just taking them to jinx them, but I'm probably going to keep taking GB, until they cover a spread. I'll take GB +5 against the NY Giants. I have a strong feeling the Giants will win by a FG, but I think there is also a pretty good chance GB wins the game. Either way, I think the 5 is pretty safe.

Many weeks, it's really hard for me to find a game I like. This week, there are many games I really like. I expect to have a good week, but I do realize that sometimes in the past I've had HORRIBLE weeks where I felt confident going in.

The only sure fire lock is Sea over Minn. Other than that I can see all other games going either way.

No offense Marty. If I were to make all the picks you'd be smart to go oppo of I would have done as well

Bill, I was going for a lot of surprises, there WERE plenty of them, I just picked too many of them.

Brad, if I didn't pick GB, I would have picked KC +8 against Denver. I think KC will win that game.

But I picked GB, and am VERY happy to be wrong. I will keep picking GB until they cover a spread, they probably will next week. I was hoping the climbing spread was going to get to 7 (against NY), but even that wouldn't have been enough.
