I did the playoff prediction machine

http://www.nfl.com/playoffs/playoff-picture/predictor

I came up with NFC

1. Dallas
2. Seattle
3. Vikings
4. Atlanta
5. Giants
6. Washington

AFC

1. Patriots
2. Chiefs
3. Texans
4. Steelers
5. Raiders
6. Broncos

However, there is a caveat. The machine doesn't let you pick this week's games or I think the Raiders and Chiefs might be reversed

A lot of over-reaction to Dallas, IMO. They've played the softest schedule in the NFL thus far.

Man I hope we're that smack you in the mouth game for them!

Send them reeling. Let the questions over QB start.

So juicy I can eat that shit right up!

That "smack them right in the mouth game" could come as early as tomorrow. How great would Thanksgiving be if Jerry Jones looked like he had overdosed on triptophan?

A month ago I was going with Dallas over Oakland in the SB, now I am having some doubts.

I think after the Vikes played the Pack, it derailed the Packers where they didn't blow anybody out and they lost 4 straight. Even though they didn't beat the Cowboys, the Vikes might have temporarily derailed them, put some doubts in their mind, and maybe showed other teams how to slow them down.

To, a lot depends on the Cowboy/Giants game this weekend. IF the Cowboys dominate, then I think they are on their way to winning the SB. Otherwise, I would lean towards Seattle, and the more experienced Wilson over Prescott in the NFC Championship.

The Raiders were my pick in the AFC, something just felt magical about them, but there is plenty to doubt. I thought that Carr in college was great as long as there was no pressure, but a little pressure and he under performs, unlike QBs like Wilson, Bridgewater, Winston or Manziel.

Also not sure if the Raiders have the defense. Does NE have enough on defense, probably, but I have the feeling it will be someone else. Broncos again ? Maybe, but only if it's Simiac, and only if that maniac is healthy.

Otherwise, KC ? Reid is not a horrible HC, maybe I have underestimated him over the years. I never thought McCarthy would win one in GB, if he can, Reid can. Or at least Reid can get them to the SB to lose to Seattle or Dallas.

KC is simply a better team than Oakland. Beat them at their place and at home.

GB did that to Minnesota one year, but the Vikings beat them in the playoffs.

Amazing to me is that neither of the two participants in the Superbowl last year will even make the playoffs this year.

Parity is a beautiful thing.

Now if we could just get the NFL to stop favoring certain teams.

Very hard to beat a team 3 times. Very hard to play a team 3 times.

More likely it will be the Packers in the NFC Championship, and more likely it won't be against the Lions, more like Dallas or Seattle, or maybe NY Giants.

How do you get 23 with all Field Goals?

7 field goals and a safety I guess.

14 + 9 Both extra points made.

Dude, we're scoring at least 2 TDs

Maybe I am reading too much into the Packers WIN Over Seattle, the best defense usually wins the division, so the Vikes have a chance.

The best overall product this season in the division has been the Lions. The Packers won many divisional titles without having a great defense.

It might not have been a great defense, but it was probably better than the Vikings' at the time, and probably better than the Bears and Lions at the time as well.

Whatever it was, the reason the Packers won was their offense.

Things could get very interesting.

While Det may well have been the most consistent North team they have a guantlet the rest of the way. NYG are playing very well and playing in the windy Meadowlands with a bad finger I don't expect Det to win.

We just need to take care of business.

Actually in the years they've gone to the NFCCG and beyond was because they had better defenses.

They never have had trouble scoring points it's been stopping the other team that has been their achilles heel through the years.

What Bill said.

Earlier in the year, the Packers defense was a sieve and they lost, other years the Packers won the division, they would get turnovers from their defense (sometimes getting away with muggings in the 2ndary), instead of giving up TDs.

The Packers defense played much better against Seattle with the return of Randall.

I predict the league will make the Giants forfeit last week's win for using walkie talkies.

.... OK not really.
But it would be big.
And send a message.
