The last time I predicted a Vikings' loss and did NOT change my mind on Sunday, I had the EXACT score right.

You've mentioned that about twenty times. We all get it.

Now pick the Vikings, dammit!

I think GB will lose on Sunday.  Yes, I think Chicago is going to pull the upset.

I am going to go with all the home teams except: New Orleans,  NY Jets, Seattle, San Diego

I know this is unprecedented, but I'm changing my mind and going with the Vikes winning, and it's Saturday night.  I hope that isn't a bad thing.

VIKES 19 BENGALS 14

I see a hard hitting game, where the Vikes start with 4 FGs.  Harvin will play, but will knocked out of the game with a nasty hit.  Vikes will be ahead 12-7 when OCHOCINCO gets a go ahead TD with about 3 minutes left in the game.  It will be looking bad for the Vikes because they will have not had a TD all game, but Favre will hookup with guess who, for the game winner ?  WR GREG LEWIS.

I think this game will APPEAR to be another 'sway' early on, but the Vikes will overcome it.  The Bengals' 2ndary will get some NO-calls PI early in the game.  This will upset the fans, and Viking WRs will complain.  The officials will not like being criticized and will respond by calling Winfield for PI on what looks like a clean play.  They will also flag Sanford for hitting with the helmet, it will be questionable, but an o.k. call.

No, the Bengals are healthy, and THEY will win this one.  THEY are the ones that still are looking for respect, and want the #1 or 2 seed.  The Vikes probably now feel the #1 seed is unobtainable.

The Viking rookie fill ins will play well on defense, but Palmer will probably take advantage of any mistakes they make.

Back to Cincy winning, but not a blowout win.

Cincy 27 VIKES 17

IF you went by ANY of my predictions, you'd have been taking Cincy +7.

I had Cincy winning by 17, then Vikes winning by 5, then Cincy winning by 10.

Cincy +7 seems like WAY too easy of a bet to make.  Maybe the game will be 'swayed' so Minnesota has a good chance of covering the 7 ?  Could happen.  Should the game be 'swayed' as I suggested earlier, where Cincy is given a few NO calls on PI early on, and maybe some offsides penalties on Minnesota where Cincy OL get away with some movement, then you'll probably have an EASY bet with Cincy +7.

This is HORRIBLE !

Not only do I feel the Vikes are going to lose today, I now feel the Packers are going to win.

I changed my mind on the Packers AND Miami, add them to my list of visiting teams that I think will win.

Marty,

How do you ever get any sleep? Your brain must be constantly fighting within itself flipping around, readjusting and questioning itself all day and all night.

My biggest prediction for today's game is that I'm going to eat a bag of cashew caramel corn and drink all the beer in the refrigerator.

I hope you're right, and I hope that winning field goal comes in the second quarter and that we keep piling on points after that. He'll get the winning points, but we'll go on to win by 21.

I can't take the tension of having a game come down to the wire....

I've never heard of cashew caramel corn. Is that just caramel corn with some cashews thrown in?

Lynn

It's just been that way THIS season, in past seasons I pretty much stayed with any predictions made earlier in the week.  Actually, it's fantasy football that is disruptive to sleep.  For some reason, I seem to sleep better after the NFL season is over

The Vikings are home and the better team. The loss of Harvin hurts but we win by 7-10.

Glad I switched to GB and Miami this morning, should have went with the Vikes.  I'm glad they don't need me to switch to them on Sunday in order for them to win.

The Vikes showed some real toughness, a team that could go places.

I should take his Adrian Peterson jersey back!

He learned a valuable lesson today

Order some from my wife's store and find out:

I prefer the redskin caramel corn myself.
