No, I think the league prefers passing, and they'll prevent Peterson from taking over a game with a whole bunch of runs late in a game, by flagging anything that might be close to being a hold. I was going to predict a lopsided win for the Bears, but I might be UNDERestimating Frazier. Maybe we have just what I've been hoping for for a long time, a good HC. If you're teams not getting blown out, you probably have a good HC. I remember early 90s when the Vikes had a LOADS of talent on offense, and a defense that would destroy you with it's pass rush if it got up on you, but then Mike Ditka would come in and run the ball 18 times in a row, the clock runs out, and the Bears pull out a win. I've been predicting a 2 or 3 win season, but maybe the Vikes will exceed that by a decent margin ? Maybe the Bears aren't as good as they were last year, and the Vikes go in and beat them ? Maybe the Vikes pull a big upset and hand the Packers their 1st loss of the year ? Maybe things will look a bit different a few weeks from now ? The Vikes do seem better coached, but just have some poor throws by the QB, some lack of talent at WR, some weaknesses at LBer, and then they some drives get killed in the 2nd half by holding penalties. I like that Frazier disciplined Berrian, and maybe he can make him into a star ? IF Berrian becomes a good deep threat, the Vikes could become quite competitive this year. I remember liking that the Vikes had gotten Berrian as a FA, great speed, a pretty good deep threat, just that he dropped an occasional bomb. IF he starts holding onto most of them, regardless of the QB, this could end up being a vastly different season. I'm going to go with the Bears, but it's going to be a close one, and fairly high scoring: Bears 30 Vikes 27
