Because I have balls the size of Brad H's ego here are 3 predictions. I guarantee 2/3.

We will win against the Packers
Assuming Freeman starts he beats Ponder's best with 400 yards
and/or 4 TD's.

Anyone could have came in and predicted the under or the Giants to cover -3, and be tied with Brad and myself.

That's o.k., Brad and I will continue, hopefully we don't continue to suck. I'm not really embracing the suck, it's not my kind of thing.

Put me down for the exact opposite of your locks...

Hey, I offered to book all of his locks. No reply.

Lucky you. I thought about taking you up on it, for real.

Ballsy prediction Todd, and you as well, Zoilo.

Do you guys REALLY believe the Vikes will win ? I think there is about a 90% chance the Packers win.

Right now, the only games I see the Vikes maybe winning this year are Washington (if RG3 is out), Chicago (if Cutler isn't playing) and Philly (if Foles is starting) at home.

Crunching a few numbers, I'm disappointed I haven't hit a SuperTeaser yet, it shouldn't be that hard. There's enough parity right now, a person should be able to hit one.

This past week, on a SuperTeaser, EVERY home team covered except Philly. Every away team covered, except Denver and Minnesota. Yet I included all 3 of them in my 2 SuperTeasers .

You could have picked both sides with the 1st 7 games listed, and hit a 14 team SuperTeaser.

I guess you are subconsciously wanting to be wrong

I'd post a picture of a "Superteaser", but the damn mods would edit it out.

We have pools here we can play, Marty. The pool is often as large as 500K. Occasionally one person wins and takes home the pot but usually 5-10 split it. Sometimes on the easiest of weeks it gets chopped up pretty good. I've gotten as close as 14-1 (on a $5 ticket) ...they don't include the thursday night game.

It's pretty cool. For $5 you can make your picks and try and win. For $10 you can block one game, $20 for 2, up to $40 to block 4 games. Meaning the outcome of those games doesn't matter. No point spread...straight up. Gonna win that sombitch someday.

At this point, it's entirely plausible that the Vikes may not win another game. However, I think they might get lucky and catch a team overlooking them, allowing the Vikes to pickup a win on U.S. soil before the end of the season. A 2-14 record will probably leave them with the 3rd worst record overall. Jacksonville and TB will wind up at the very bottom of the standings, neither of which will win more than 1 game.

I would be surprised if we end up better than 2-14 at this point. The football situation is dire and will not get better any time soon.

You guys are falling way behind the coin flip...

Nice job on your "locks"

Yep, I never claimed to be a good betting man. I learned my lessons long ago in that game.

You need to pick a site with straight lines. To much confusion last week. If it becomes too much work, I am out.

I WAS picking from the line Brad, you were NOT.

When the spread has a negative number like -130 next to it, you're paying 20$ extra to get an extra point and a half.

Vegasinsider.com is what I look at. It has 13 Vegas casinos' spread listed, and they sometimes vary, but usually they are the same, maybe a 1/2 point difference. We can use one casinos' spreads, go with where the majority of them have the line, or just allow the other person to have an extra 1/2 point, or point, if we don't want to get overly picky. The site lists the opening spreads, and then what they are currently, sometimes the line jumps 6 points throughout the week, with injuries or just heavy betting on one side.

Probably the important thing is we are getting the spreads near the same day, as the spread difference between Monday and the following Sunday might be quite dramatic. I'm not going to get overly picky, as long as you have your pick listed before noon on Sunday.

We are now tied, I hope you don't just quit because I'm trying to make things fair and clear. I'm NOT trying to make things confusing, and just want this to be fun. You challenged me on it, and I want to give you a good race.

Just pick a site (with spreads only) and I will pick the game of the week. When I see -9, it means -9 to me. None of that other crap means anything to me. I ain't that serious about it, just trying to have fun.

Here, how about this one? Pretty straight-forward for dumbasses like me.

Already got my lock of the week. Send me the check. I'll take Seattle -10.5 against the Rams.

Brad, for my lock, I'm going to go with KC -7 1/2 (over Cleveland).

The site you listed (footballlocks.com) should be just fine.
