1st place? Its two people "competing." Stoppit.

Anybody else joins in, they can possibly be tied for 1st place if they get a team or the over/under right in tomorrow nights' game, provided I get the over wrong.

Todd, if you're good at making picks, you should be able to do pretty well making picks with the spreads. Feel free to join us, you can still get a pick in this week, and 1st place right now has 1 win.

It's not 1st place, it's second to last.

I don't know if you've picked up on this, but the entire thread has turned into an amusement park with you challenging Brad on predicting point spread outcomes of games. Nobody is interested in being in a contest with you. Theyre eating popcorn, while chuckling at two people that have never been considered good football prognosticators by their peers on this site.

And whats triple funny is the fact that you take this so serious. Even Brad has told you to not over-think this. But, you continue to think its a big deal, even if its in some sort of inviting other people to compete sort of way.

Nobody wants to play. Nobody cares about getting something right and being tied for first place in a game only you are playing that competitively. They just want to be entertained by you.

Not sure if I'd call it entertainment though Ian.

B & M show belongs on PM IMO.

I predict first offensive play tonight to be 4 wide, AD motions out of backfield to line up wide and Freeman guns it 60 yds in the air for an 80 td pass.

well...not really predicting that, but it sure would be cool

Speils phone rings and it's Jeff Fisher. He ignores it and it goes to VM.

While playing a round of golf Speils checks his messages and it's Fisher offering a 7th for Ponder. Speils ignores the message and continues his golfing.

Hours later Fisher calls again, this time willing to give up a 6th. Speils misses the VM as he left his phone in the call when he went into the Liquor Store.

Speils finally calls him back just before entering his favorite brothel and demands a conditional 2015 pick be added and Fisher accepts. Speils tells Fisher that he's willing to do the deal only because the Rams don't play us this year and that he fears this "may come back to bite him".

Just my prediction of what could happen this week.....

If the Rams were to give us that much for Ponder, I'd be surprised and Fisher and co would be fired.

It's pretty clear to just about anyone, who has the balls to make predictions, and who doesn't. That's o.k. Ian, we don't need your participation.

I was just inviting other people, as I thought it might be more fun with a few more people involved. But it might just invite more problems, maybe some people that take themselves too seriously. Like I said, we don't need people like that.

Yes I predicted Houston as the lock of the week last week as a 9 point favorite, and they lost by 367 points. It's all good, I can take some ribbing on that. I thought Houston had more heart, and wouldn't cave against the Rams. I'm hoping to bounce back this week with the over on Min/NY Giants, hoping Freeman can get the Vikes to light it up.

This is a very bad football team, plain and simple. They have almost nothing.

Anyone could have came in and predicted the under or the Giants to cover -3, and be tied with Brad and myself.

That's o.k., Brad and I will continue, hopefully we don't continue to suck. I'm not really embracing the suck, it's not my kind of thing.

DrVikings, how about YOU do some locks, and then give me Vegas bets on the opposite of your picks

I did get the Jets upsetting NE right, and also picked Cincy over Detroit. But, I got several others wrong including Bears/Wash and Den/Indy. I should have went with Indy as they were coming off a loss, were playing at home, and they were my pick before the season started to make it to the AFC Championship.

Well, Brad we're still tied at one, hopefully we can both get it right next week, make it interesting down the stretch. Maybe we can shut up a few of the naysayers by both being right next week ?

DrViking, we can't give you credit for the last 3 weeks as you didn't say it beforehand. If that is your wish for the rest of the season, that is fine. You would be 2-1 right now, doing the opposite of Brad OR myself.
