Canuckleheadds on life support!
Sweep the leg Johnny!
Sweep the leg!

My son texted earlier (gotta agree) .... Willie Mitchell is an underrated warrior for any team he plays for. Guy competes his ass off, always has.

RE: Mitchell

He's gotta be some sort of enigma. I'm not sure who's played for more teams, he or Leo??? Seems odd.

Oh
My
God
This is the greatest playoffs ever
Nastiness everywhere
Don't tell me passion in sports isn't alive and well.
That Phlyer/Pens game was like watching a knife fight .... scary as hell.
Melrose is so freaking giddy, he can hardly talk. I'm with him.
Next target has to be Neal from Pitt .... THOSE are the jackasses who are causing the problems ... fly around, cheap-shotting everyone, then NEVER stand still and answer for it.
He blatantly tried to injure at least 3 or 4 of the Flyers in about 2 min of the third period, and then whines the rest of the time about being penalized.
have no problem if you do that ... then answer for it. Was hoping Simmonds would tear himm apart, but of course, tough guy Neal wouldn't  let go of the stick or the gloves. Shocking.

That was crazy to watch.

Holy Crap goaltending Batman!

Hope Neal gets his ass whooped next game, what a jerk!

Damn, I'm 0-2 tonight ... but really good tight games.
Big test for the young Blues tonight.

Someone wake up Brian Boyle, please ... Thinks he's a goal scorer suddenly

What did you think of the Torres hit (forgetting it was that POS for a minute)?

That's going to be controversial. Hossa laid out and the pundits are already screaming that he left his feet. I'm not sure I see it that way. Sure, his feet left the ice briefly, but is that more of a momentum thing? No way possible, at that speed, to keep your feet completely on the ice.

Yep. Same here.
That was much like the Neal on the Phillykid hit the other day too ... they can say "he left his feet", but to me its momentum.
Also having trouble with a couple others ... the Shaw "hit" on Smith was not one, imo... deserved nothing. Smith deserved an ass-kickign for the acting.
Backstrom BETTER not get a game for the call last night, that was defending himself.

It all started because Shanahan was too chickenshit to sit Weber out a game or two.

Shocking

Det gets a PP a minute later on a phantom call. Too many men when NSH had 4 guys that were so close to the boards they could smell Trotz's farts. Horrible call.

And there it is. "Excitement" in the head linesman voice as he announces to the Joe that it was a good goal.

Yep, still a problem in the NHL ... rabbit-eared refereeing.
Well, in SOME buildings anyway ...

It makes me hate the game I grew up worshiping

I know it's not for everyone but it's the perfect game to me but it embarrasses me at times these days.

The Preds may be my 2nd favorite team at this point. Carrie Underwood in the crowd, great product on the ice and a coach that looks like he should be carrying a battle axe in the lord of the rings movies

Totally man. I lived for 10 years in DC and had to suffer that fan base. Now I live in Dallas. It's unreal the shit i hear in the rink and around the area. It makes me want to puke.

In Dallas, the fans don't even pay attention unless the tough guy "Steve Ott....." cheap shots someone or the ice girls come out. it's sad but funny at the same time.
