ORIGINAL: djskillz Oh, and again, I totally own up to the fact that I'm biased since I'm a Duke fan, but the fact that UNC is still ranked above Kansas and Memphis is completely indefensible IMO. ****************************** Kansas? Come on. Who have they played? I'm not a UNC fan, but right now they deserve the #1. That's the beauty of the game though, they'll have to earn the #1, not have it appointed. Kansas, IMO, is the best team in the country. They're a better team than UNC to me. And I would Memphis at a very close #2. I really believe that will end up being the national title game. UNC will lose to someone earlier in the tourney I think. I do think they'll do well in the conference this year, because the ACC is a bit down and Duke is their only real challenger. And even though I think Hansbrough is incredibly overrated (Kris Humphries II to me) Duke is very small this year and has noone that can defend him. **************************************** Like I asked, who have they (Kansas) played? They have only played outside of Lawrence 4 or 5 times and they have had a soft non-conference schedule. Hell, they struggled against Arizona, USC and GT. The conference is weak this year and they'll go into the tournament seeded lower than they should. I definitely don't see them as final four material. I would ask the same of UNC though. They haven't really played anyone either and have come closer to losing. And have not played as well IMO. Memphis and Kansas have both been playing extremely well overall. You say Arizona (pretty solid), USC (the #24 team), and GT, but UNC has eeked out wins against Davidson, Nicholls State, and now GT. And they haven't beaten anyone of note either, other than eeking out a win against Clemson, which I would contend is not really much better at all than USC.
