I hope they can keep things rolling once they resume games in Jan.
This team has been a pleasant surprise and so fun to watch.
Not likely to get much respect until the NCAA's since all they are playing is B10 teams.

Would be cool to add Arizona State and Iowa State to the B1G, bringing hockey to 8 teams, basketball and football to 16.

Gophers start up the 2nd half of the season on Sunday afternoon vs Arizona.

Like we've talked about over the years though. Nothing will test a club like their all time rivals (Arizona) coming in on a crisp Sunday afternoon.

After watching the Vikings taxi squad from noon to 3, I will be happy to watch some hockey at 3.
Even if we aren't on our game right away, I'm betting it will be more competitive than the Vikings have been this season.

True. Was me being smarmy about this season. So backasswards. Arizona at 3 PM on a Sunday? Michigan on a Mon/Tues back to back ect.....just comically odd. I get why but damn, it's just weird.

As I suspected, Gophers looked pretty rusty and didn't play a real good game coming off the break. They still won on talent 4-1 after falling behind for the first time this season, but it wasn't pretty.
There were numerous stretches where they were just gliding around watching ASU. The good thing is they pushed their record to 9-0 even though they didn't play very well.

I liked it
Short some D
After damn-near a month off
Playing a team who looks at us as the Yankees
Early rust, but when we put it back together, wow.
3 goals in 5 minutes to re-establish dominance.
Helps having one of the best goalies in the country too. He was sharp.
Koster took over when we were flailing. And righted the ship with short passes.
This team is built on that. When we get away from it, it shows.
Like Clymer and others are saying, when the real stars of this team settle in and start producing, look out.
We've got some definite top-end talent that hasn't gotten into their groove yet. Which bodes well, when you are 9-0.

It seems to me he was an assistant for Lucia when we hung a couple of banners, before you took him from us. We just got him back when the top job opened up. Thanks for getting him ready for us!
