SHOCKING first half in Cham-pag-nya today
To hold THAT offense to 3 pts in one half, on homecoming?
aMAYzing.
The tide she is a-turning in Minnesota football.
The Illini are moving the ball some right now, but we are light-years ahead of where we were a short time ago.
Great players like Juice Williams are looking average against us this year.

The numbers they are flashing are remarkable.

112th in turnovers last year. 2nd this year.

We were the worst defense in D1 last year.

Is Brewster going to get CoY votes?

If this continues he will.
Don't like how we are not playing offense anymore now, keep pushing it!
We aren't protecting anything, give 'em hell.
Great throw by Weber. love this kid.

I love it ... we finally have a coaching staff that won't let people shove us around.
The officiating this half is typical .... The team who is supposed to lose is winning, so now the refs have to take over.
Brewster was all over the refs for some shady calls, dropping the f-bomb or two. I love it.
Everyone can see they are trying to get Illinois back in the game, call them on it. (and he did)

Dammit. We had them on the 4th down.

But what killed us was not covering their best WR on 3rd and long deep in their own territory.

Holy Cow Gophers.

I saw the Illini offense a few times this season and going in today I expected the Gophers to
get blown out in the 45-23 range.

Incredible game from Brewster's Boys.

I am shocked.

What a TD run btw.

Wow

Sweeet run by our freshman.
This is a huge upset, i agree.
Stacey, I had thought the same thing, I expected 40-some to 20-some, them.
What day so far.
Love what Brewster has done, he has given them attitude in two short years.
They don't expect to get manhandled anymore.
We may still not win this, but it's still a huge turn of events.

Also .. amazing how college replay gets it right more often, and in less time than the pros.
Theres the Illini offense i thought we'd see today.
Buckle up, its gonna be a rough last couple minutes yet.
That missed pat blows.

I absolutely lov eit ...
Usual Gopher ball (and Vikings) here would be .... 3 runs and punt.
Love how we are throwing it.
Duh!
Someone finally gets coaching!

We are making plays and out-athlete-ing people.
Whoda thunk it?
This roster went from DII to solid D1 in a year.
Wow.

Okay, I left the room for a couple of minutes after Minnesota had to punt the ball and downed it on about the 10 yard line.   When I came back into the room I was muttering - "okay guys, what we need it a turnover here" and looked at the TV just in time to see us kicking the extra point on that fumble pickup/touchdown.

BEAUTIFUL!!!

I love how, even when we failed on 3rd down, it was a beautiful effort, took a greta play on their part, our best against their best. I can live with that.
Stuff 'em now.
Can't give up a huge play here right away.

It's pretty shocking. There was no way anyone was expecting Brewster to even start to be turning this thing around so fast.

Can't lose sight of the effort of Ted Roof either.

Might've jinxed them. Crap.
