Status: offline 		Gophers going to Houston for a Dec 27 game. Nebraska and Michigan get the Gator and BWW bowls in Fla. gophers get no respect.

They play Syracuse

It isn't the money that upsets me since after expenses all money is pooled in conference and split. I think the Fla games are better recruiting games

Agree, that stinks.

And it's hard to prove yourself at crappy bowls in Houston on the 27th of December.  Gator Bowl would have been a nice oppotunity to prove whether fans will travel for legit bowls.

Not to mention we were 4-4 and Mich was 3-5 in the same division. That said, the bowls can pick whoever they wish. We just need to win more games and get a bigger traveling fan base. Then that kind of stuff will take care of itself. Brick by Brick.

I expect a bowl win this year and will be disappointed if we lose. A decisive win would be nice but will settle for just a win. Certainly a step in the right direction when we are complaining about going to Houston this year. A couple of years ago any bowl game was good news.

The Gophers also had a preseason schedule with 4 human sacrifices. Given how weak our schedule was and the fact that we lost the head to head match against a very beatable team, I can't complain. Look at this way; last year we got to this bowl as kind of a fluke because of other bowl selections.

It's a testament to the coaching of the rest of the team that they won 8 games this year with the QB results they have.
