They added FIVE other ProBowlers this offseason. No way. If anyone should be MVP from that team it should be Kris Jenkins or Alan Faneca. THAT is the reason for their turnaround. WRONG. Favre is the MAIN reason for the turnaround. Other teams have added a few Pro Browlers to their lineups, but they are NOT having the kind of success the Jets are having. I have seen teams in past seasons add a couple of Pro Bowlers to thier lineup, only to finish 6-10. I don't know what more Favre could do to convince you he isn't deserving of a 4th MVP. The Packers were 13-3 last year with Favre, and this year with essentially the SAME players, they are 5-6. The Jets were 3-13 and losing many games by a wide margin last year. This year they are 8-3, and just went ON THE ROAD to knock of NE (who WAS leading the division), AND what WAS the team with the NFLs' best record, an undefeated team, the Titans, AT Tennessee ! Favre HAS come through in the clutch, and is a GREAT regular season QB. I wouldn't bet on him in the playoffs, but the MVP award is based on the REGULAR SEASON, and for that, I think Favre should be the MVP of the league. I think it could be argued that with Kellen Clemens, the Jets could easily be 4-7, maybe even 3-8, and I think they WOULD be!
