I hope he doesn't play.   He's dangerously close to Jim Marshall's record of consecutive starts, and I'd just as soon he doesn't make it.

Marshall's record was broken by Jeff Feagles, during the vikings win LAST SEASON....at the NY g'Aints.. it's a crime that a punter holds the consecutive games started record...

Fully agree. Shouldn't even count.

I know.  In fact aren't there a couple of kickers now that have beaten Marshall?

I just don't count those.

I don't think they count, either.

Jake, very sad re: Bryant.  My thoughts and prayers are definitely with him and his family.

Yup

About every third or fourth Sunday in the NFL you get days like this.  Favre, who looked old and tired last week, recaptures 1996 at least for a week.

Washington is taking it to Dallas.

the Marvin Lewis Era is just about over

I guess the people who thought Todd Collins should start over Jason Campbell were a little mistaken

I would give up 2 #1s for McNabb

We could win next year with a real QB

Yep.  Campbell is a damn fine QB.  He was always TJack's ceiling to me.  Kind of like Garrard.

Heck of a day of football/sports in general.  Gotta root for Bryant.  Awesome.

Love Bryant

Campbell is nothing like Garrard at all - much different style QB.

Overrated Dallas got it handed to them, and I loved it.  I don't know why people rated them higher than the Giants and a favorite for the SB

We'd be 7-9 with this coaching staff

Dallas is better than the Giants.  They are.  One game doesn't change that.  The Giants will finish last in that division IMO.

I think Campbell and Garrard are very similar.  Both are "control" type QB's who are smart and efficient, but both have some athleticism.  I like both quite a bit actually.

BTW, the reason the Cowgirls lost, as usually is the case when they lose, is that they didn't trust Marion Barber enough.

8 carries in a 2-point game for a top 5 back in football?  Seriously?

They have to learn that he is the key to their team, more than anything else, just like us with AD.  You run him often and he'll give you a great chance to win.  That's one of the things holding Dallas back, not realizing that.

We could win this year with a real coach.

A "real" QB with the same coach won't change anything.

They are not similar at all.  Campbell is a pocket passer.  Garrard is a scrapper type QB.

Dallas is not that good.  They are all hype. Romo is one of the most overrated QBs in the NFL and Owens looks to be a half-step slower.  The other WRs are only good when people ignore them.

Romo has some physical attributes which allow him to do some things from a numbers standpoint.  However, what seems hold him back from being a Manning or a Brady, is 1. He makes too many mistakes under pressure, 2. He tries to do too much at times (even when not under pressure).  Bottom line, is if you expect to put the game on his back, you will likely be dissapointed.

Oh, I agree re: Romo, but JC, you are also forgetting Witten.  And a dominant running game if they just let it be.

They're not that "great" but they're better than the Giants.

But would he be as good under Childress? I hate this KA offense he is using. For some reason teams can play 8 men in the box to stop the run and still be in the WR back pockets on pass plays.

OMG, someone please take the keys away from that talking corpse Al Davis.
He somehow thinks we are all interested in "how it went down".
You stopped being relevant 20 years ago, Al. Get over yourself.
I admired Davis long ago. At this point, he's just a joke gone bad.
