Took in quite a bit of the Pitt Clemson game. Not much defense to speak of.

Clemson also got robbed by the refs. 2 phanton PI calls that kept drives alive both resulting in TD's. Seemed like everytime Pitt needed help the zebras obliged.

Pitts kicker missed a PAT, hit his own Olineman in the back of the head on a FG att, yet made the 48 yard game winner.

Iowa just tried a fake punt. P fielded a high snap then ran left and tripped over the hash mark.

Might have even made Kleisauser blush

edit: then he got covered up by the defender and they flagged him for targeting

coach couldn't have drew that one up any better

Mich won't drop far as that they still can be B10 champ if they win out.

Is there an ACC championship game? if so both Clemson and L'ville have a chance

The problem this year is the only team really looking championship worthy is Alabama

Hate them like I hate the Patriots and respect them like I respect the Patriots

I guess you can make a case for Ohio State if they beat Michigan

Penn State is at least ranked

USC's true freshman quarterback (Darnold) is the real deal.

USC's true freshman quarterback (Darnold) is the real deal. My wife is a teacher at the high school he was at, and that kid already looks like the best quarterback in the nation.

Was he a good kid or kind of a dick because he's so much more talented than all the others?

Not sure my wife ever had him in her class. He graduated early and arrived at SC in January.

That's says something positive right there ..

He was the #1 Oregon QB Target and Helfrich only goes after High Character guys( a strategy clearly not working)
which leads me to believe Darnold is probably a pretty good kid.

My unscientific

Kids are funny these days, according to my Nephews and Nieces, being a good athlete,( and they are)
doesn't really mean much in the HS halls the way it used to.
Musicians are held in high regard, as are artists, academics, and just all around good people.
Also a lot less partying and what not as there used to be.
Would love to hear some insight from those closer to it than me.

USC just got a QB commitment from Jack Sears yesterday.

The Michigan and OSU losses have been HUGE. If Penn State wins out, then neither OSU nor Michigan would make it into the B1G Championship Game. Talk about throwing a monkey wrench into the playoffs. The only team IMO who is a lock for the playoff is Alabama, and damn if they don't look scary good. True Freshman QB is a STUD!

The Big Ten is now experiencing what the Pac 12 has for over a decade. The deeper the conference, the harder it is to get them into the playoff or title picture.

I would argue that USC is playing as good of football as anyone outside of Alabama at this point.

Ahhhh, you may forget the 100-yard return for touchdown that was reversed and given to Clemson instead. There was absolutely no clear view of the ball crossing the goal line, yet Clemson enjoyed a 14-point advantage on that call.

They also got away with a non-TO that Sweeney clearly called to ice the kicker. They ignored his TO and the kicker missed it. Of course there is no assurance he would have made the next one but they have no room to bitch.

I would argue the Big 10 is one of the top 2 conferences in football.

Sagarin Rankings would disagree.

4 of the top 10 rated teams are from the Big 10.
2 definitely should be.
1 certainly deserves consideration.
1 hasn't convinced me yet.
