U of Washington is a serious football team. Watch out for them. They're the real deal.

No doubt. They have always had talent, but they really seem to be putting it all together this year. Are they the best team in the PAC?

After watching the Clemson/ Louisville game I have come to the conclusion that college football is greater than Pro football. That certainly was the case in the past in the days of Red Grange, etc. College football was the king and the NFL was kind of struggling. The NFL is absolutely the most successful of all of the professional leagues, now, but when I see the passion of the fans on the collegiate level, I think that there is something still lacking in the NFL.

Washington embarrasses Oregon in Eugene. USC is 3-3 and UCLA is 3-2. Standford is decent, but clearly the Huskies are class of the PAC 12. With Houston's stunning loss at Navy today, it looks like Washington is a "shoe in" to make the tournament if they run the table. Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State would make it a dandy playoff.

The Pac 12 has depth. Any given weekend. But truth be told, it is not a great year for the Pac 12. Oregon State, Cal and Arizona have no defense this season.

Stanford is not very good this season. One of the worst teams they have had in the past decade. Washington State took them apart last night. Mike Leach has got the Cougars on the rise.

Oregon has gone straight downhill since Helfrich took over.

USC has talent but no identity. They have a great true freshman quarterback that is going to be a star (Sam Darnold).

ASU...coolest uniforms in college football. Never win a big game.

Washington is the clear star this season. Colorado, Washington State and Utah are up-and-coming football programs. USC and UCLA are dangerous.

IMO, Michigan will beat Ohio State.

I know that my Boise squad is not world beater, but I do like our chances of running the table cracking the top 10. We would never hold up against the likes of Alabama, Texas A&M, Washington, or Ohio State, but we could possibly squeeze into a New Years Day bowl game. Rypien is an above average QB and McNichols is a stud RB. Our O-line is shakier and the defense needs to restock because a lot of our guys went pro or graduated.

Seems like there might be one PAC 12 team should make top 20

Oregon is down and will be for years.
Hired the wrong coach and the players have quit.
Luckily, our Owner has deep pockets and wants to win now, so I'm hoping for a quick change.

That Washington team is very good.

Was someone thinking Mariota had nine years of eligibility?
Saw some major griping today about not re-loading the QB position.

As bad as the QB play has been, the defense has been worse.
Went from average under Chip Kelly to bottom 10 under Helfrich.

"owner"! ha! deep pockets indeed!

frustrating year for sure ...

bad D and bad QB recruiting...can't believe they have relied on 1 year wonder transfers for 2 years in a row...

you think they make a coaching change this year?

I like how ESPN characterizes OSU's win as a "gutty comeback"

but Nebraska just "holds on"

no way do I really think the Huskers are quite as good as their rankings...

decimated OL, way too many mistakes...

but 6-0 is nothing to sneeze at...

first time since 2001 we have started out 6-0

crazy...

Feel bad for Wisc. Gauntlet of an early schedule and should have beaten OSU yesterday.

Crist is a good coach. If they could merely get competent qb play they'd be a serious contender.

Their OL was pretty awesome yesterday...then in OT they go to the passing game to get the TD from inside the 5?

That was the only wtf I saw from them yesterday...but tOSU did what they needed to do

Nebraska gets the badgers in 2 weeks...

talk about a difference in records

who is scaring people more?

6-0 Nebraska or 4-2 Wisconsin?

Yeah I know, just posted about that....

happy about 6-0, but I know the Badgers will be a tough game

Haven't seen Nebraska play yet this year but they will have their hands full against Wisc.

Their Oline had their best game of the season yesterday. Unsure why they can't recruit a good qb? Suppose mostly cuz they are a running team but nonetheless emberrassing qb play

Quarterback is not very good. Wildly erratic as a passer.

Oh, I agree, Brad...

Armstrong is terrible...

50% passer, fair runner...makes mistakes at the worst times...

just not capable of executing Riley's offense

this is what Pelini's recruiting left us with...

(next year we will finally have a legit QB competition!)

That said, he's been sufficient so far this year and we hope he can give us enough to get to the B1G title game

We always have our hands full when we play Wisconsin. Don't see it happening this year, but Riley is putting together some good recruits and like Chris said, we have some QB's that will be competing from here out.

I will be cheering on my Badgers Saturday night. Not inconceivable for them to run the table (Sorry Huskers) and get to the Big10 Championship Game. On top of that, neither Ohio State, nor Michigan would scare them in a rematch. Could still squeeze their way into the playoff.

Wisc vs Neb was a very entertaining game. Right down to the wire in OT

Thought Neb had that TD but the S closed and defended the pass. Would have been a heart breaker for Wisc being their Walsh look alike kicker missed that PAT.

You got that right. First the missed FG and then the extra point in OT. I almost went into vapor lock. Wisconsin Defense is playing very well up to this point in the season. Win out, and they should find themselves in the Big10 Championship Game.

The upside of being an Oregon Alum and season ticket holder on this down year is that I watched my third game this season from a luxury box with food and drinks.

And it looks like we have a Freshman QB as well.

For some reason, now that the Badgers have played the toughest part of their schedule, Northwestern scares me.
