Where are all the Robert Woods fans? Ian?

You had him as the best WR in the country. He's not even the best WR on his team.

I'm a huge Robert Woods fan. I don't know what USCs issue seems to be. They always lose these kinds of games. No focus. A major sense of entitlement.

You can switch your allegiance to UCLA. I won't tell. They're exciting, on the rise, under the radar, hungry and well coached.

I love the PAC 12 this year. It's tough when your conference is good.

Won't happen. I have too many ties to USC now. Maybe ten years ago.

Good friend of mine is WRs coach at UCLA

He is a former NFL player and grew up in South Central

If he is still there in 3 years my son may go there instead of USC

Player to keep an eye on is OSU's LB/Shazier . That dude was all over the field yesterday. Would look really good in purple!

Also, agree on Barkley. I don't get the hype. I don't watch him much but he sucked last night.

He came back to win it all and that's become a very unlikely scenario.

He's a right-handed Matt Leinart from what I've seen of him.

He's throwing to two guys in Woods and Lee that are probably the best 1-2 WR punch in the nation (and might be the two best WR in college football, period). He sure as hell isn't going to have that right away in the NFL.

He certainly has no shortage of skill players around him.

I probably would take Hopkins and Watkins over Lee and Woods.

I suggest all of you Big 10 plodder types take a look at De'Anthony Thomas of Oregon this weekend.
Then do some youtube searches.

Then try and talk about Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, or Wisconsin and hiw good they are with a straight face.

Oh and for the USC wonk, on the last page, get ready to lose again in a few weeks.

Go Ducks

Vindication for me. I can't find the posts in which we were talking about this - but the game in Wisconsin has started and 3/4 of the student section is EMPTY. They even commented on it on the air.

Check 'em later. My understanding is due to the games starting early Saturday morning, most of the students arrive sometime before halftime.

That backs up my point - that they only wander in during the second quarter (although I made the concession that they had gotten better about that in recent years). My point was that all the bragging about what great backers students were for teams like Wisconsin is a bit of hyperbole.

Yeah Murph being an Oregon guy myself, I really can't remember anyone in here pounding their chest about any Big 10/12 team..

Let's not go Hoiseth on them in here.... I'm sure USC is prolly not a favorite in here once Bradley get's to stickin his chest out...

PAC12 is strong this year. I'm really liking UCLA. Oregon is as exciting as it gets. Overall, pretty competitive conference.

I love Clemson +14.5 @Florida State tonight. We'll find out how good Clemson is against that great FL State D.

Yeh Pete I'll be anxious to see the Ducks play something other than a tomato can tonight. But exciting yes....

Jim Mora Jr. is doing an amazing job with UCLA. They were basically dead in the water the last few years.

As a Vikings fan, I don't want the team to be in the position they'd likely have to be in to draft Manti Te'o.

But man, would that guy look good in the middle of the Minnesota defense next season.

Thanks Jeff. I just hit me that it was probably in the Gopher thread. Such a happy little thread today I don't want to mess it up with negativity.

Yay Gophers!!!!

We would have to have a pretty good record to be in a position to justify drafting Manti Te'O in the first round.

Jarvis Jones is by far a better LB, and he's not going top ten.

Let me phrase it as a question: where do you think Te'O will be selected?
