Might get your wish as looks like he has been traded to the Red Sox.

Pretty indifferent about them. I am impressed how they scrape up guys and keep winning.

Zimmer's trying to do that, but they effed up the line in MN. Badly.

The Red Sox and White Sox have agreed to a blockbuster trade that will send Chris Sale from Chicago to Boston in exchange for Yoan Moncada, Michael Kopech and two other prospects, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

I would like to get one of their "extra starters" knuckleballer Wright or Pommeranz.

ChiSox did well

12:14pm: The Red Sox and White Sox have agreed to a blockbuster trade that will send Chris Sale from Chicago to Boston in exchange for Yoan Moncada, Michael Kopech and two other prospects, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (on Twitter).

12:32pm: USA Today’s Bob Nightengale reports that minor league outfielder Luis Alexander Basabe and minor league right-hander Victor Diaz are going to the White Sox as well (on Twitter).

1:47pm: There’s a financial wrinkle to the agreement, as Boston will pick up all of Moncada’s $31.2MM remaining obligations, per Bruce Levine of 670thescore.com (via Twitter).

Moncada is currently ranked as the #1 prospect in all of baseball. Impressive haul, especially since they don't have to pay him either.

Scouting grades: Hit: 60 | Power: 55 | Run: 65 | Arm: 60 | Field: 50 | Overall: 65

The most-hyped teenaged prospect to come out of Cuba since Jorge Soler, Moncada signed last March for $31.5 million, nearly doubling the previous record bonus for an amateur player (Aroldis Chapman's $16.25 million in 2010). The Red Sox also had to pay a matching penalty for blowing past their international bonus pool, but so far the total $63 million expenditure looks well worth it. He has shown the dynamic tools package Boston paid for while reaching the big leagues at the end of his second pro season.

Few middle infielders can match Moncada's huge offensive ceiling, which earns him comparisons to Robinson Cano with more speed. He's a switch-hitter with outstanding bat speed who makes consistent hard contact from both sides of the plate. Moncada has added some loft to his swing in 2016 and has the potential for 20-25 home runs per season.

Moncada's best pure tool is his well-above-average speed, which he has put to good use with back-to-back 45-steal seasons and an 86 percent success rate in the Minors. His quickness doesn't translate consistently as well in the field, though he has the range and arm strength to play almost anywhere on the diamond he might be needed. He spent most of his first two pro seasons at second base, though with the Red Sox having Dustin Pedroia signed through 2021, they moved Moncada to third base in mid-August.

I was listening to Gammons this morning---Big BoSox supporter of course. They wanted to bring in a guy that had no attachment to the prospects and try to win by the time his contract is up (2019). Dombrowski was the guy.

Bringing in 2 guys with no attachment to the prospects or big leaguers maybe the best thing about Levine/Falvey.

I think the Davis/Soler trade has a real potential to be a bust on both sides.

Davis had injury troubles. Soler is hot/cold.

Orioles DuQuette supposedly told Bautistas agent ... "Not interested, our fans don't like him"
And he's taking heat.
I got no problem with it.

According to multiple reports, Ramos' deal is for $12.5 million and includes playing time incentives to make up to $18.25 million over the two years.

We couldn't have done that?????????????????

I hate the Twins

I think I remember him slimming down once before, but he played poorly....so he put the weight back on and improved for awhile.
