twinsfan whiffing like Judge and Sano combined.

Good bounce back for Severino. It shouldn't have to be mentioned, but good to see a manager let the best pitchers pitch.
Joe has few fans right now, but I am one. Always will be.

Yankees were disciplined at the plate tonight. Saw nearly 200 pitches.

Defense matters. The poor NY defensive team performed well on the big stage. They do that occasionally.

Wednesday will be fun.

Girardi will always be on my Mt Rushmore.
No matter what he's done lately. Knows the game.
Love that they did not roll over.
Right back in this thing. A lineup full of dangerous bats means you are never out of anything.

Doyers complete the sweep and move on.
Will be a tough out this year.

I see the Twins PR Dept is all geeked ... they're guaranteeing that both Redmond and Gardy will have Managing jobs next year.
We shall see I guess.

The movement on the balls Darvish was throwing .... seems unreal.
Truly unhittable when he's "on"

Doesn't matter. What the media and MLB REALLY want is Dodgers/Yankees.

As for the cubs, I hope someone brings a billy goat to this game...

Maybe they will "sway" it. It's only been 40 years.

Somehow the Phillies/Royals managed to be one of the highest viewed World Series ever.

The Detroit Tigers have their sights set on several options as their next manager.

Set to interview in coming weeks? Ron Gardenhire, Dave Martinez, Alex Cora, Hensley Meulens and Mike Redmond, according to Detroit News writer Lynn Henning.

The biggest name of the group is Gardenhire, a bench coach of the Arizona Diamondbacks and former manager of the Minnesota Twins. His teams pestered the Tigers for years, and he has experience working with young players. Redmond has also managed before, calling the shots for the Miami Marlins from 2013-2015 and being a bench coach for the Colorado Rockies.

Martinez and Cora are the big names from the up-and-comer category, with the former working with the Chicago Cubs and the latter being a bench coach for the Houston Astros. Meulens has experience managing the Netherlands team in the World Baseball Classic and is the hitting coach of the San Francisco Giants.

Most of these candidates have teams still in the playoffs, so the Tigers might have to wait to conduct several of the interviews.

They would be smartest to go after Dougie....

I'm hoping someone in the NL goes after him
Get the feeling he will be a really good manager, and since we don't want him, I don't want him beating our ass, regularly.

I laugh when I read about Gardenhire being experienced in working with young players. He excelled at throwing young players under the bus. I don't know that he helped many.

I'd like to see both those clowns back in our division.
We'd only have Cleveland to deal with then.
The other two would implode from the school-of-gardy impact

There.
We respect you.
Now take your ass back to the bench, Rizzo.

Feel free to pound your chest a couple times on the way.
