ORIGINAL: Mr. Ed So how do you feel about Marwin? I’m going back and forth Once he became our cheater, I liked him Just being honest. As for advantage? When you are a finely trained and conditioned athlete, that split-second assurance of whats coming …… is HUGE Doubters will look at next year, and guess what, Altuve as a non-cheater will probably still do ok. As will most of the other cheaters. That doesn't mean it didn't help tremendously in their past success. Think about when we are intently watching one of those playoff games. You see Chapman. Even those of us sitting in our easy chair, are nervously wondering ….. "damn, he's got this guy in a 1-2 hole. Wow, this would be so tough to have to get a hit here, BECAUSE ….. he might not throw gas here. I might get myself all cranked up because I'm guessing fastball, and that sumbitch drops a yakker on me." Well guess what, I get into my rhythm, and if I'm NOT cheating, that's the problem. I DON'T KNOW for sure what he's bringing. But these guys … they wait, and BAM they hear the bang, or they feel the buzz, and suddenly, DUDE'S BRINGING the fastball. You don't think that makes the game easier? We can argue HOW MUCH easier, but you cannot possibly argue that it doesn't matter. In the clip I showed yesterday, you could almost feel the batter reset his process, before anyone normally would, because he KNEW what was coming.
