His slash line is .191/.328/.468/.796. He needs to really improve that average and OBP, and you gotta figure he will, while the power will come down some. But he's still a decent candidate to trade later this year, all dependent on how Rosario does starting in the middle of May. And the Sox do have a loaded system. First, you have to believe Rosario will be at 2nd base. And that's not a guarantee, either. He saw plenty of innings in LF during Arizona Fall League. There is no way they will trade him. A: He's affordable(re: CHEAP) B: He's under team control Certainly. It's all on Rosario. But IF he rebounds after the suspension, one of those 2 guys is really our most tradeable chip. I honestly don't care which one at this point. I'm not nearly as high on Rosario as an OF'er (the bat just isn't as valuable) and we have so many other OF options going forward. We have a lack of MI options. I'm sorry, but why are we trading the best infield prospect we've had in about a decade? Perkins was the trade chip that got away if you ask me. A guy like Rosario is precisely the kind of player you hold onto. Especially given the infield situation we have had the last ten years Don't disagree on Perkins. On Rosario, what do you do? You have to trade one of him or Dozier IMO. They're both 2b and neither is a SS or has enough bat to play elsewhere if you ask me. Rosario I've always been really high on, but at this point given his suspension coupled with Dozier's play, I'm okay dealing either one for the right return. Neither should be given away.
