I see the Browns laid an egg today as well. They could have taken control of the North. All they had to do was beat the next three cupcakes on their schedule and they would be 6-2. Well, the first cupcake kicked their arse.

Never would have thought the Seattle DEFENSE would become the weak link

From Elias: The Rams went 19-of-22 passing today, an 86.4 completion percentage. That's the highest single-game completion percentage allowed by the Seahawks in franchise history.

Russell Wilson rushed for 106 yards on seven carries and also passed for two touchdowns while going 23 for 36 for 313 yards, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history with 300 yards passing and 100 yards rushing.

Wow. Was that that kid Davis?

Never would have guessed that in a million years.

Mike Rodak: This will be the fourth consecutive season in which the Bills and Patriots meet early at Ralph Wilson Stadium. They've played the Patriots tough each time, including a win in 2011. Buffalo's key to this game will be putting pressure on Tom Brady, who has completed just 39 percent of his passes for a 2.0 Total QBR when under pressure this season. The Bills are tied with the New York Jets for an NFL-best 17 sacks and are in prime position to take advantage of a shaky Patriots offensive line. Bills 21, Patriots 20

The fact that the Bills and Jets have the most sacks really renders this stat useless when you add up their win total.

Pressures are more important. Who gets more pressure in the NFL?

The Browns will be kicking themselves. I saw a good chunk of that game with a Browns fan and they blew it. Up 6-0 at the Jags 20 yd line 4th&1 they opt to go for it instead of making it a 2 score game. They don't convert Jacksonville has their only real drive of the first half get a TD and take the lead 7-6. Then of course the punt returner trying to field a punt with his heels on the 1yd line down 10-6 in the 4th and letting the ball bounce off his facemask right to the Jags.

Inredible. Austin Davis threw something like 12 incompletions in a row vs SF last week. The Seahawks are consistently giving up plays. If not for Wilson and the offense they'd be in serious trouble.

I've already said it once today.

Punt returner fundamental number ONE.

Stand on the 10 yard line, if the ball looks like it will get past you get away from it and let it bounce. WORSE thing that can happen is it is downed at the one.

Amazing how quickly the Legion of Boom became the Vikings pass defense

I still think they turn it around and make the playoffs but the time is now for sure

They still have a lot of talent. But i think they are believing the hype a little too much.
Chargers exposed a weakness and everyone is trying to exploit it. and when Seattle adjusts they expose the new hole.

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys have waived defensive end Michael Sam from their practice squad and signed linebacker Troy Davis.

Sam, the first openly gay player to be drafted by an NFL team, signed with the Cowboys on Sept. 3 after he was among the final cuts of the St. Louis Rams.

He and Gronk appear to have been separated at birth.
9 catches for 143 yards for the big fella today

Tell you how good Watt is

Even in this age of all calls favoring offense

He makes defense fun to watch

Agreed. Watt is just a man among boys out there.

He easily has the best first step in football. He shoots off the LOS faster than any player I've ever seen.

Clowney should be taking notes.

J.J. Watt now up to 54 combined sacks, hits & hurries. Next most in league is Von Miller (39) with Justin Houston 3rd (38)

Bill if Clowney gets HALF the heart of Watt the defensive line will be unblockable.

We know Clowney has the physical skills but I have not seen his heart/desire yet. Does he really want to give what it takes to be the best?

When I see Watt in interview he takes his craft very seriously. He might be my favorite player in the NFL right now

Or Russell Wilson! :-)

Right now, Watt is on the short list of best players in the NFL. In a game skewed to make it almost impossible for defense, Watt is a difference maker. A play maker on defense. We don't see too much of that.

Barr has the potential to be that kind of player, and that's special. I don't give a shit if he wins Defensive Rookie of the Year. I just want him to keep progressing and help us win a SuperBowl.

Personal awards mean little to me. Our last two Rookies of the Year....... one is in limbo and one is two teams removed.

Yep. Watt really is a freak. I'm hoping (just as a fan of football/talent in general) that Clowney has a bit of Fairley in him. Issues/troubles/injuries but ends up stepping up his game next to a great player (Watt/Suh). The combo of Watt/Clowney really could be special if they can get Clowney to play to his potential.

NFL officials are killing the NFL! A RB flips a ball over to another player and they call a 15 yard penalty. The NFL is at an all time low

I was duped by SF, thought they were killers.
I assumed they'd be pounding people for years.
Nope. They're a mess.

Shady on the block?

Yup

They are starting the same campaign against him this year that they did with DeSean Jackson last year

Plus Shady has slown down a half step - probably from the concussions

Polk is a stud back in waiting if he stops getting hurt

Plus Shady had the nerve to speak out against Chip for cutting Jackson
