Yep. Our best D man is playing with Team Canada this weekend, which definitely won't help. On the other hand, it's nice to have that caliber of player on the squad. Not used to that at BSU!

Mavs get a nice 5-2 win to open the series against Bemidji.

Lots of road games to open the season for MSU-Mankato. 8 of first 11 on the road, and so far they're 5-2 in those road games.

Make that 6-2 in their 8 road games after completing the sweep with an 8-6 win. Solid start for the Mavs who return home to face BG next week.

Huskies go to Denver and get Swept. So much for undefeated and #1 ranking. I'm in mourning, but at least the Vikings won this weekend.

Truly feels like damn-near any team can win it all this year.
Should be a full out scramble to qualify for playoffs, and then it'll be a crapshoot.
Just how the parity lovers like it.

SCSU obliterates CC at Herb Brooks. Last week still hurts big time, but this softens the blow a bit. Grats to Minnesota State and Minnesota with big wins. UND gunning for #1 in the rankings after a road win against Denver. The NCHC is TOUGH!!

The NCHC has the top three ranked teams in the country. They are all ranked higher than the Gophers. The Gophers are joining the NCHC in the top ten, but not so far in the top five.

SCSU with two more sweeps after losing their first two games at Denver. SCSU not just beating teams, but obliterating them.

With BSU games not on TV this season, I have lost almost all interest. I just checked the standings. Wow. Not a good season for BSU. The good news is there are still a lot of conference games left to be played. Still time to turn it around. Right now is a good time to start. Need to win at least 1 of 2 vs Northern Michigan. Then we get Huntsville and Anchorage. We SHOULD win all of those games.

Bemidji State is 38th in the Pairwise. That's not very good.

Congrats to SCSU, still holding down the #1 spot.

I hope Bemidji destroys North Dakota in a couple weeks.

Hey Matt! I am not as interested as I have been in the past either. It’s a combination of the games not being on TV and having moved so now I’m 2 hours away from Bemidji compared to 20 minutes. I can’t imagine dropping the TV is a good move in the long run. It was the one thing BSU had that was unique - they could broadcast games on a a free channel.

We have to sweep this weekend, because we’re on the road a ton after break. Home ice is definitely attainable.

After a very slow start, Bemidji State is on a roll. Up to 4th place in the WCHA after reeling off a 6-game win streak, and they have been unbeaten in their last 10 games. The cream always rises to the top. Bitzer could carry us to a conference title if the offense can be adequate. This is Bitzer's senior year, so probably our last realistic chance at making it to the NCAA and maybe making a run.
