I missed the Friday game, but it appears that SCSU's Schuldt stuck his knee out on a play that should have been a penalty, but was missed by the refs. Todd Anderson a seemingly despised ref by one and all (hopefully not your son) was involved. The UND player named I believe Mismash was it seems seriously injured on the play.
The slashing of Poehling's wrist may have been a retaliation. I'm not sure. Retaliation just brings more retaliation. Hopefully we just play hockey next time we meet up.

I just caught the end of the Gopher game and they managed a 4-3 win to get the series split.

Not a lot of hockey talk lately. SCSU just keeps dominating to the point of it now being boring. Seems like no Mankato or Duluth fans around here so despite them doing well nobody cares and Bemidji and Gophers are struggling. We need some rivalry to stir things up.

Gophers getting spanked at Penn State......nothing to watch there.
I see St Cloud vs CC on at 8 PM, that should be worth watching.

Mankato ties Michigan Tech 1-1. Duluth not playing and St. Cloud down 2-1 in the third. Come on Huskies pull it out. Massachusetts won so Huskies need this one to hold on to #1.

St. Cloud wins during 3-3 OT play. Counts as a tie for Pairwise. However, it counts as a win for NCHC points.

Freaking Driscoll allowed the game-tying goal with 9 seconds left in regulation. That sucks!!!

I'm not worried about Pairwise anymore. Our only way into the NCAA tourney is to win the WCHA tournament. My goal is to get into the Top 4 in the WCHA regular season standings so we get a home series in the WCHA tournament. That extra point for the 3-on-3 win matters.

Good. Tonight a 6-1 destruction of Ferris State.
Huskies win 5-4 over CC in regular OT a win in all ways.
Mankato wins in regular OT 3-2 over Mich Tech
Gophers get annihilated by Penn St 6-2.

Huskies outshot CC 48-24 but had to squeak it out.
