So far so good but WTH are we going to do with regards to LB? We are an absolute mess in that area.

Draft, I guess.

Crappy year for LBers in FA under the age of 30.

Yup, I'm guessing we are going to go with one of the big LB's@8 and QB with 2nd. I would be pretty geeked at that actually. It's so nice to see them finally trying to fix this pathetic defense.

See it's already being said, but Munnerlyn appears to be Winfield II
I'd take that, eh?

We have out new Pat Williams and Antoine Winfield. Not bad at all.

Seriously? They can't do better?

@DarrenWolfson: Left guard Charlie Johnson back to #Vikings is done, per source. 2-year deal. Told $2.5M/year."

Working out the way I want it to lately
Manziel looks like a possibility to fall to us
Bridgewater raised more questions than answers today
JFF is the only QB I take in Rd 1.

Manziel is not going to fall to 8. Bridgewater could after today and I would take him if he were there. Work outs are so f***ing over rated, it's mind numbing. Bridgewater completed 68% for his career and 71% as a senior, but based on one workout there are suddenly doubts about his accuracy. Placing individual workouts over career performance has caused many a team to make many a bad decision.

Ok, geee, IF JFF falls to us at 8, by some miracle, I take him .......
I personally, imo, just what I've seen and felt .... don't enjoy Bridgewaters game.

I, personally, imo, would like to see us take JFF
I, personally, imo, would like to see us pass on Bridgewater.

There.
Whew.

You're stupid. I bet you're ugly too.

But, seriously I just don't see Manziel being there at #8. I really think someone will take a shot at him before then. The only concern I have about Bridgewater is competition level. The guy has all the tools you could ask for and supposed to be pretty calm in the middle of the chaos.

Why even worry what QB will be there at 8? The Vikings will go defense with that pick

While that wouldn't surprise me at all, it isn't set in stone.

I think they take B-water or JFF if he's there. I hope. If he's not, absolutely, go defense.

I tend to agree with SMF; I'm not a big B-water fan. I have very little to nothing to base this on, however. I also agree with Sweeney that the concept of a guy dropping because of a so-so pro day is insane.

Some are believing that the LB from Alabama will be the pick if available, and a QB taken in round 2.

LB corp needs help, badly.

This.

Not sure if you've heard of the general vikes thread but I was saying the same thing in there. What has Bridgewater done to fall? Stopped playing football?

I've seen TB play a couple times and they games I saw were against solid competition. He looked like the real deal to me.

I think sometimes a guy is the consensus #1 for so long, he gets nitpicked to death. That's how Aaron Rodgers fell from #1 over all to the 20's. He was #1 too long and suddenly everyone liked Alex Smith's upside more than Rodgers (probably from watching workouts). And before pounces, I am not saying Bridge will be Aaron Rodgers. Just giving an example of someone who got over analyzed.

More great news for my boy Johnny Football.
Merrill Hoge hates him.
That right there may just make him a mortal lock.

Bortles extremely impressive today.
Looks like he nailed his #1 pick audition for the Texans.
