Atnalta was the much-better team last night, imo
Ryan folds in high pressure areas
Julio Jones is a flat-out BEAST
Philly got away with one, just like they did many times last year
They have some great play-calling ideas that they actually execute when needed.
But they're not all that scary.
Glad to see Ertz drop some easy ones. Dude rubs me wrong.

Last night reminded me of the Philly stretch run last year.
Kept waiting to catch them for home field, never happened.

But they’re not scary.

They are not the abusive husband who beats his wife on the Honeymoon.

They are the abusive husband who beats her down mentally for 10years.

I loathe both types, don’t get me wrong.

But Mental guy is usually more beatable.
It just takes longer.

Like this year.

San Francisco 49ers at Minnesota Vikings (1 p.m. ET, Fox)

Point spread: MIN -6.5 | Matchup quality: 59.4 (of 100)

Nick Wagoner's pick: Even before the injury to Jerick McKinnon and suspension for Reuben Foster, the 49ers figured to be facing an uphill battle against the Vikings. This week, coach Kyle Shanahan acknowledged that losing McKinnon was a serious blow to his game plan. The Niners have lost five consecutive road games to the Vikings. That streak continues. Vikings 27, 49ers 20

Courtney Cronin's pick: The Vikings usher in the Kirk Cousins era at home. Minnesota's No. 1 defense has allowed 10 points or fewer in five of its past seven regular-season games. Cousins and his playmakers have been working all offseason to build their on-field chemistry, which involves spreading the ball around and placing an emphasis on Dalvin Cook, Latavius Murray and this explosive backfield. Vikings 27, 49ers 13

FPI win projection: MIN, 70 percent. Jimmy G and the 49ers might have finished 2017 with a five-game winning streak, but a Week 1 trip to Minnesota and FPI's top preseason defense is a big test.

Offense might struggle a little but the Defense will dominate. 17-6.

Reusse has an article on why the Vikings will be in the Super Bowl after this upcoming regular season.

In a couple months after the Vikings are 4-4, he will be attacking the team for all its shortcomings including shitty O-line play.

The Vikings are immensely over-rated. I will never buy into the hype. Have we learned NOTHING about this organization and its wretched history?

They WILL be good, if not great. Injuries can always change things but if we avoid the serious ones we're almost a lock to be in the playoffs. We might not see 13-3 this year due to a pretty tough schedule but I like our chances to be one of the top 2 seeds again, hopefully we get HFA. This organization is doing far more than any other in this town to be a winner.

Tough schedule and Rodgers back gives me reaso to not get too excited. I am looking forward for something to have hope for, which at least the Vikings provide.

Vikings get the W but the O-line may get Kirk Cousins killed before Halloween.

The Vikings look like a 10-6 wild card team unless they can seriously fix the O-line during the season or that group shows remarkable improvement.

Rodgers hurt

Look for NFL to ban tackling QBs next year.

Cousins got pushed down with the DL taking 2 steps first and there was no call.

Wasn't a "severe" penalty, but that was a penalty last year.

And the call on Richardson today was total garbage. It really underscored how stupid the new rule is. The people who came up with it have watched The Matrix to the point that they believe it is real. Sheldon hit Garopalo straight on. From the nano second they collided, they were both falling. How was Richardson supposed to adjust his body in mid air so that he doesn't land on top of him. Stupid effin rule. Precious Erin gets hurt and cries about how mean Anthony Barr is and the NFL over reacts as always.

It wasn't that rough, but it sure as hell was unnecessary.

Yeah, I know, I know ... its one week.
But damn, its nice again, to have real professional QBing.
Those throws don't get made by any recent Viking QB, except for a healthy Sam.
The 2 TD passes, he KNEW he had an inch, to put it over the defender, and keep it down so our guy could catch it.
And that's where he put it. In that INCH. And they weren't lobbed or floated or hoped out there. They were THROWN.

I was happy with the throws. Was not happy with all those stupid 1 yard enema's on first down.

Cook looks good, but I thought Murray was hitting the holes faster/better.

Smith giveth, Smith taketh away. It is what it is with him. he's ok on coverage, at best, better making/forcing plays.

We haven't had a guy that could make those passes since Favre's first year.

(Technically Bradford could make them, but he wouldn't have attempted either of them...)

+1
