I don't understand what Cronin is saying, he is 100% wrong. The Vikings were the model of consistency. They could beat the garbage teams and every time they played somebody good they got their ass handed to them.

The week to week "they got it figured out" "things are getting better" "turned the corner" "good stretch of games"... it was all bullshit.

The Vikings will continue to fail because the idiots in charge, especially the Wilf Brothers, continue to allow RS and MZ to make horrendous decisions. And when the people in charge have shown time and again to make terrible decisions, the situation simply repeats itself.

I tried this joke in the Viking thread and it didn't go anywhere, so I am going to pull a Matt and try it here.

The New Horizons spacecraft has now travelled past Pluto and is taking the first ever pictures inside the Kuiper Belt. It still hasn't found a worse pair of guards than Remmers and Compton.
Get it? Cause it's traveled so far ... and Remmers and Compton suck so bad ...

Baltimore was the GD Vikings for 3 quarters, then the Chargers became the GD Vikings in the 4th.

The double DOINK in Chicago was classic GD Vikings. Classic.

I cannot believe any HC would let a guy like that sit thru 3 quarters of putrid play while your season went out the window.
The 4th quarter success of the Ravens offense was because of circumstance, not some sudden revelations.
But by all means, Ravens ... keep telling yourselves different.

Flacco would have been a dead duck

But also would have likely made some passes that Jackson refused to even try,
