ORIGINAL: MDK From the Strib headline on the account of the game The problems begin, but don't end, with frazzled quarterback Kirk Cousins, now 5-27 against teams with a winning record. They continue to make the mistake of putting it all on Cousins. He has contributed to this mess, but he has had a great deal of help. Yesterday, we got the shit kicked out of us on both lines of scrimmage. There was no semblance of a game plan or any sense of finding a way to adjust to what the Bears were doing. The preparation for this game was just piss poor. They were not ready in any phase of the game. And before anyone labels me as a Cousins defender, I don't think he is the answer at QB. I had high hopes when he came in that he could put up good numbers and be something more than a game manager. He hasn't done that. Yesterday, put most of the blame on the head coach. Vikings were not only outplayed but were ill prepared to play the Bears. Preparation is on the head coach. The timeout debacle at the end of the half was sniffed out by PA before it even happened. That's how pathetic Zimmer looked. Their coaching staff SCHOOLED us. The timeout, sniffing out the 2-pt, knowing what we were planning on every down … it was hard to watch, even if you weren't a Viking fan. I hate the Bears and their staff, but can't even be mad at them. They kicked the shit out of our coaches as much as their players kicked the shit out of our players.
