There is no reason on God's green Earth for Sendejo to be brought back ... other than Zimm can't seem to live without him. I could see Smith in a hybrid S/LB role.

As much angst as I have for Zimmer right now, and the play of the secondary, this falls squarely on RS and his complete failure to fix entire units in a timely manner. He's done it for years. Neglect an entire unit until you can't look away anymore. Then throw every resource you have at it to patch it together quickly while ignoring upcoming problems. WR then LB then secondary and then OL.....when will it end?

Bradbury was a rookie 1st rounder so he gets another year before judgement. I though he got worse as the year went on. Fatigue due to lack of strength like you mention? I thought he started off absolutely horrible, got better for a good stretch of games and then faded at the end. As you said, probably fatigue.
Elf was flat out bad. It was very irritating. You have a gift for understatement, my friend. I honestly can't remember when we have had worse LG play. Too small and weak for the pass block, not athletic enough for our running scheme. Small weak and unathletic is poor combination for playing O-line.
O'neill was good. Agreed. Very solid, especially in pass blocking.

In the years past we've had injuries that clouded whether this unit was bad or just thin. We had no such issues this year. They were just bad overall.
