and honestly...

Do I care Jerry Rice is running around firing people up?

Will knows Jerry. Is a great player on Madden

That's it. Never saw him play.

OMG Joe

"Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers rushing attack just too much"

Garoppolo still hasn't had to win a playoff game. He's a pedestrian.

LOL

Friend of mine has a brother who's a pack fan

and he posted in the third quarter....

These refs suck. No PI or holding calls, no roughing, no additional footage, no nothing. If this was in Lambeau the Pack would be killing them. These refs need to step it up or the Packs gonna lose

They didn't show GoDaddy (Aaron's Danica) yesterday.....just shots of Jerry Rice, Steve Young, and Shanahan's dad.

CJ Ham will be in the Farce Bowl this weekend for the 49ers fb

Good thing Jackson and all those Ravens are eligible

They may have had to cancel over lack of numbers

Gary Kubiak, who spent last season as the Vikings’ assistant head coach and offensive advisor, will now get the offensive coordinator title, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The 58-year-old Kubiak is the former head coach of the Texans and Broncos, and former offensive coordinator of the Broncos and Ravens.

The Vikings were seeking a new offensive coordinator after Kevin Stefanski left to become the Browns’ head coach. Head coach Mike Zimmer has said this offseason that he thinks the Vikings’ offensive system is fundamentally sound and doesn’t need to be radically remade, so it’s not surprising that he decided to stay in house for Stefanski’s replacement.

Kubiak’s son, Vikings quarterbacks coach Klint Kubiak, was also thought to be a candidate for the offensive coordinator job, but he’ll apparently work under his dad for another season.

Patterson and Zimmer's kid co D coordinators

The final nails in the coffin are being applied to this regime.

Patterson probably has deserved the promotion for a long time...

Those are strictly figurehead positions. Zimmer is the DC, period. Patterson and son of Zim will not call the defenses during the game. They will offer input on game planning, which Zim will listen to if it agrees with what he was already planning to do.

What's everyone's take on the Big Game?

I cannot believe the spread is that close
I assumed KC would be almost double-digit faves
IF that offense stays hot, they will not be stopped, even by SF's decent defense.
The level KC has been playing at on offense usually takes an entire off-season to scheme for.
Right now, in this short window, they have been un-coverable. I expect that to continue.
I actually WANT SF to win but think it'll be 34-23 KC wins.

I like the more consistent approach of San Francisco. I think they wear down the Chiefs D with their running game and grind out a win.

Cannot put out a more Minnesotan view than that one.

How do you keep a high powered high scoring offense from beating you? Keep it off the field as much as possible limit their opportunities. You do that by running the ball well. SF is really good at running the ball. They just beat two playoff teams in successive weeks without hardly throwing the ball.

Their Defense is better than just decent. Their running game has been phenomenal and it's more due to scheme than personnel.

I would rather the Chiefs win, but I think SF pulls out a squeaker.

All comes down to pressure on Mahomes
And Niners running the ball

I’ll take the walrus and Mahomes 34-21
